Yes.
They just copy all the info from their Thai National ID card.
Documents needed - carry original Thai ID card + Fitness certificate from a Thai Doctor
Must pass written test, physical, motor skills, vision etc.
Fee is around 255 baht for a 2 years Temp Licence, after 2 years can convert to Permanent Licence with 5 yrs validity

on the other hand the year-to-year extensions are not too bad.
That is when you are not too old, when youre 90 years old it wont be too fun to sit at the immigration office whole day

To clarify, are all 2019 applicants still waiting for their MOI interview, or an unlucky subset of them? Thanks.
Davids friend from Dec 2019 batch still waiting,
@saakura and @onthemoon and others from early 2020 still waiting.
Nothing lucky or unlucky.

Is it possible for a parent who has no job connections whatsoever with Thailand to obtain a Guardian Visa just to stay long-term in Thailand by sending the child to an international school in Thailand ?
I have always thought the child's visa is sponsored by the parent, so that the parent must at least have some legal reason to remain in Thailand, and then the international school will accept the child to study in the school and give her an Education Visa.
Is the opposite way possible ?
Possible, if you have 400,000 baht in your Thai account and sole custody of the child granted by the Thai court

Really? What do you base that on, I'm guessing that you must have something empirical?
Last month I checked Singapore was a developed country with a stable government and an economy.
Their national bank DBS has been awarded the title of the safest Bank in Asia.
Never seen such awards and accolades given to a Thai bank
See here -
International Wealth Management by Asia’s safest bank
Established and headquartered in Singapore — Asia’s leading financial hub — DBS Bank is a leader in Asian wealth management, and Singapore’s largest bank. DBS Bank’s ‘AA-’ and ‘Aa2’ credit ratings are among the highest in the world. Coupled with Singapore’s strong financial infrastructure, strong governance and stable economic climate make it an ideal place to grow your investments from.

Sure, but inside 12 months the rates will be fairly similar.
Getting free interest without even moving your finger, isnt it good?
Singaporean, British banks are far more stable than Thai banks

then usually the 13 digit numbers on the TIN card and the pink id card do not match and will not be the same.
The OP has pink card and house book in his possession already

My current entry is based on Thai ID number for foreigners (yellow book/pink card).
So I hope I won't need an address certificate.
Yes, since you have the 13 digit Pink ID card for foreigners, the same 13 digits on the card will be your new TIN.
They will copy your address from your Yellow House Book

The 10 digit TIN is no longer valid.
They now have a 13 digit TIN issued to all foreigners, Thais use their Thai ID card.
You will have to apply for a fresh 13 digit TIN at your nearest Revenue Office
Passport + address certificate from Immigration will be required
