I bank with Kasikorn and can speak for them, here are the rules -
Account maintenance - Savings:
Baht 50 per month for an account inactive for more than one year, with outstanding balance of less than Baht 2,000

Please tell us how an app differentiate between a foreigner and a Thai customer
Many functions are not available for foreigners-
1. Opening a new savings/current/FCD account - not available
2. Not allowed to open Fixed Deposits via the app
3. Mutual Fund / Share trading account - not possible via the app
4. Cannot request for a Balance confirmation certificate
5. Cannot request/apply for a credit card

You have agreed that in case of any fraud and you loose money from your account, the bank will not be held responsible.

I was informed by my contact in MOI that the current government is not interested in processing citizenship applications.
He has no idea when the next MOI interview will be conducted

Another friend of mine who just started the process last year completed his NIA interview and his documents have been sent to the MOI.
I'm still waiting for the RG announcement for mine to be completed. No news from SB on that as of yesterday.
Thanks for the update

Just up the road in Pathum-Thani they want a new one each year.
Police Regulations , TM30 in the case where a foreigner returns to the same address were published in the Royal Gazette in June 2020, effective 30 June 2020
Summary here -
http://www.ratchakitcha.soc.go.th/DATA/PDF/2563/E/141/T_0001.PDF
What this means is that having once filed a TM30, if the foreigner temporarily stays elsewhere, but returns to his registered place of residence within the validity of his current permission of stay, or a valid multiple entry visa or a re entry permit and returns to his already registered place of permanent residence, then there is no requirement to file a further TM30.
See attached files
This is published in the Respected Royal Gazette of Thailand, no Immigration office in the country is above the Royal Gazette.
Peace.

Any exception for people under age 55 who have been paying SS tax for over a year but will be quitting their job and leaving Thailand for good?
No exceptions.
Visit Thailand after you reach the correct age.
You will need a Thai bank account to get the money transferred into.

I have a will in the UK.
Its not valid in Thailand, since they are not a member of the "Hague Convention"
You will have to make a will at your nearest District Office (Amphur/Khet)

PR? No such thing as PR in Thailand. Try again.
PR - Permanent Resident, Residents visa/ Residential permit/ Non Quota Immigrant visa. Has many names in Thailand.
Thousands of foreigners have PR in Thailand, which allows them to live permanently in Thailand without having to renew their extension of stay ever.
PR holders or whatever you want to call it , are listed in the Blue House Book.
Update your knowledge and then comment
There is even a thread here on aseannow , on how to obtain PR -
Update your limited and outdated knowledge here
