  1. Yep, I think most Thai's have cottoned on to talk that includes "f***ing Thais." You know, 99% of Khun Bob's discussion points.
  2. "What are we marching for!" "Uh, don't remember, tell me again?"
  3. How many accounts does Bob Smith have???
  4. Did anyone prophesize these people? Only Travis. Come in, Travis. Someday a real rain will come and wash this scum off the streets.
  5. I have tried and tried here in the LoS to get a proper Edgar haircut! I even bring a picture of Moe Howard by way of example. Sigh.
  6. Ummm, Bob, I was speaking of the country that you are from.
  7. Only in Thailand??? I remember going to a country (admittedly, forty or so years back) when I first went to a pub and was told to drink fast in mid-afternoon due to the imminent closing hour. And the same worker productivity reason was given
  8. Yup, right night to your grade school permanent record, you know when you fought another 6 year old, they put a mark next to your name and it has limited you the rest of your life.
  9. We all know of social media's "Try this trick to get an airline upgrade, it really works!" crap. Might there be similar pages for getting free hotel rooms, like "If you take a room kay, they have to let you stay there! Maybe he read one of those or, maybe, he was trying to create a new one.
  10. You've been to Darwin?!?!
  11. I was looking at the 48 minute loop (KUL to KUL) on 5-24 via flightaware and assumed that was the impacted flight. If so, flightaware says 737-800.
  12. I tell all that I am Bob Smith, instantly no unwanted attention.
  13. Do you mean Abad Santos?
  14. Ah, the weed shops you mean? Not enough?
  15. So also said Bob Smith and Gamma, I fear that we're stuck with all of you for eternity.
  16. The double peace sign, ubiquitous in Asian pictures?
  17. Can't help with Perth but just did BKK to MEL last week. It was an A350-900 rather than a 787 (which is what I believe TG uses to Perth). Check-in was quick (a bonus if your flying business is that the Thai Priority check-in is at the start of the check-in desks, so not as congested as others and right next to priority security and immigration). Service was excellent, the seats were comfortable (although they looked a bit tired), food was ok. No issues at all.
  18. Thank you for your delightful, helpful, and detailed information!
  19. I nominate this road to the earlier thread on dangerous areas of Bangkok!
