    I was under the impression you can't when it comes to insurance companies with polices from the uk. It would kind of make sense ,that a level of competence would be required to insure you. ( like a full license ) Does anyone know 100% on this. ?

    Bit like riding a bike you never forget. She is young, so obtaining a uk full bike license ,would have been resent, and is not easy now days. and moped ( terminology in article ) no 50cc mopeds in Thailand that ii have seen. Ps Does having a UK provisional license allow her to ride a 125cc bike in Thailand ? Maybe that would explain her in experience.

    Yes, does give me a giggle most of the time, the locals deliberately offer the most nasty stuff to me at weddings and funerals !!!!! just to see what i will do, of course i have a go, then, smile or frown. much to there amusement. and always washed down with a shot of Lao Khaw. got to laugh.

    I like it. Very much down to the cook, easy to make it taste nasty. Last time I had it in a sea food restaurant in Bang Saray /Pattaya it was just nasty. Very hit and miss for this, even at the same restaurant. But It still gets my vote.

    Yes, very true, the last week a foreigner was on a 25 day overstay. whoop, whoop, 5 goons standing behind him, like he was some kind of international drugs dealer. Amazing immigration.
