    Lanta has good rooms 500 baht. Chang seems 800 baht up. Ban Krut/Pkk could be mainland option. Easy train access.

    I paid 500 baht large room near beach, no pool though. No Im not telling. It was quiet. Will stay again.

    Going up again soon. I live cheap now. Dont drink beer much. Eat cheap meals. Its boring but only way to save money. I fast 22 hrs a day. Just one meal. That helps. At Aldi this guy in front spent $550. I spent $40.

    Khlong Nin on Lanta is an option. 450 baht room there looks good. Monthly should be cheap.

    But it isnt. Many have little funds. The next job could be bad too. Most jobs arent good really cause 80% of people are annoying and most jobs involve people.

    70% of what? Based on what years? If they spent it all not good for kids. Travel makes me happy but material stuff doesnt.

    Which island would you choose? Which beach? Ive been to samui,kpn, chang, lanta, phi phi, phuket, mook, ngai, samet. Some more than 10 yrs ago. Looking for monthly rate 8,000 baht to 10,000 baht. Not too busy, not too quiet. I wonder if Maenam on Samui would be good choice? Id probably train it down from Bkk to Chumphon the ferry across.
