Yes I'm afraid too. Last week I took out insurance on my house because of lithium batteries as a result of solar cells on the roof. The batteries are placed outside under the carport but something can always happen.

What Is Your Favorite Bank...
Tubulat replied to AcuDoc's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
It happens to me too, at the same bank long time ago on Phuket, I already had an account there, and also wanted to have a credit card, asking, asking asking...forget it. My then girlfriend had an acquaintance working there, she took care of the loans, and yes in a short time it was arranged. BTW, for me there is no single favorite bank, but unfortunately you can't do without it. -

Tubulat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News

The government make this stupid rules. Take for example now the new rule on highways, only on the right lane it is allowed to drive max 120 km/hr. So when somebody drive on that lane 100, it is not allowed to passing him, after all, on the other two lanes you are not allowed to go faster than 100....

A good example last week, I stay at a hotel near by the airport because I have a flight go and go back the same day. The hotel have shuttle service, so I took the mini van at 5:30 to the airport. Come back the same day at 21:30 and there was the mini van, and guess....the same driver. He was quite grumpy and I can imagine that, he rode back like a madman, and I wonder how many trips he made back and forth that day. It's time for a tachograph, also in LOS, but compliance is important.

Strange, in a Dutch newspaper recently I read that there are significantly more cases like this, especially in the Netherlands. At first I was a bit giggly about it but now that I see this here too, I wonder...

Yes, that's correct I only rent out through AIRBNB, especially one in Chaam, my upstairs neighbor made quite a mess to a number of customers. Of course there are rude people as customers but I know he did also to normal quite people. But even when you try to do your best, like fruit, drinks, some beer, breakfast, many times they have, the customers, something to complain. When I need the money, okay have to accept, when not, SELL, and that's what I did. Think twice.
