    Previously, I had not insured my house either but with batteries and solar panels on roof, I find the risk significantly higher and have insured my house for that reason.

    And then Alibaba is cited as an example, which is laughable. Recently I tried to order 200 10ml tubes of shaving cream there when I asked about the delivery charges for that, they wanted to charge USD 100 there and then I had to wait 6 weeks as well....

    Well, to be honest, I don't find Japan comparable to Thailand in any way, despite living in Thailand for over 25 years, when I visited japan I experienced it as a clean and perfect country with a beautiful culture as well. Yes, it is considerably more expensive but worth its price, really a recommendation. Japanese food in Thailand I also experienced but the Japanese can still do it better.
