No house insurance in Thailand - how normal?
Tubulat replied to GypsyT's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Previously, I had not insured my house either but with batteries and solar panels on roof, I find the risk significantly higher and have insured my house for that reason. -
Thailand businesses urged to adopt same-day delivery strategies
Tubulat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
And then Alibaba is cited as an example, which is laughable. Recently I tried to order 200 10ml tubes of shaving cream there when I asked about the delivery charges for that, they wanted to charge USD 100 there and then I had to wait 6 weeks as well.... -
Central Group, Thai banks initiate tourist QR payments

If possible, buy gold, even here in Thailand, small quantities. When the CBDC takes hold, there will be no stopping it and we can forget about cash too. Barter is going to be big again. Yes you can laugh about it now or dismiss it as nonsense, but that era is not far away. -
Both India and Sri Lanka, once but never again, if you want to get sick, visit it.

Well, to be honest, I don't find Japan comparable to Thailand in any way, despite living in Thailand for over 25 years, when I visited japan I experienced it as a clean and perfect country with a beautiful culture as well. Yes, it is considerably more expensive but worth its price, really a recommendation. Japanese food in Thailand I also experienced but the Japanese can still do it better.

I saw a police officer and wanted to apprehend the driver but she drove away, why did he not shoot the tyres, after that he was not in the picture, curious. -
Thailand Seeks Egypt and Israel's Assistance to Free Thai Hostages
Tubulat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Of course, Thailand has the right to stand up for the hostages but I don't think it will make much of an impression, after all, the USA has hostages there too, and I am sure they have made more work of getting the hstages back by now, but without positive results. -
I am not even from there but still hope for better times in the world with Donald. No slacker like Biden or Obama and Iran should get its ass kicked.

James Bond island is much worser. -
In my opinion, it is once again the indifference in Thai culture under the name 'mai pen rai'. As a Thai woman, surely you should be aware that you are playing Russian roulette in the sex industry if you have sex with any man without a condom. When I first visited Thailand in '93 I could already remember the posters against the danger here, apparently it didn't help much.

How super intelligent they are over there. Here in LOS, you can see any 'adult videos' you want even without a VPN and sex toys you can also get as many as you want. Yes, yes, I know it's not legal, but still.... -

No nationalities are mentioned, perhaps Moroccans, Turks? Turks in particular can only drive around after a match with their hand on the horn. -
At 77, unfortunately, the hunger remains, and the will is there too but physically it no longer works out.

Have mentioned it before 3 or 4 people manage the wholesale companies and make the prices. See the same with wine that was supposed to go down in price months ago, they are still as high. Also western (read German) companies like Lidl and Aldi, don't get in, the are held back by those same 3 or 4 people. The country is getting poorer and poorer because of these same individuals but the Thai people don't realise it, they don't know about it because they are kept stupid in this.

That is also a way to get rid of it. You don't have to do anything for that yourself.
