OK, understand about Phnom Phen. Don't want to risk it.

Yea, thanks Paz, but it seems awkward to get to (bit of a lazy git). Flight then bus, then tuk-tuk etc.
I was hoping that someone had experience of somewhere more 'direct' (KL is a no-no, Penang having problems, Singapore seems difficult)
Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Hi
Rather than continually harassing the ever helpful UbonJoe I thought that I'd throw this question out there.
I just received the bunch of documents from the MoE, so I'm ready to head off to get my Ed Visa (or extension?).
I'm based in Bangkok and wondered what destination is the easiest/cheapest to get to (fly) and that offers the most hassle free process?
Also, how long does the process take? Can it be done in a day?
I intend to head off on Sunday.
Cheers
Mick

Symptoms sound exactly like a frozen shoulder problem that I had for months. My Mrs. Suggested a visit to local hospital for physiotherapy. After 5 sessions the pain was gone. Good luck, that frozen shoulder (if that's what it is) was really painful.

That Apple Watch is pretty fugly. Looks more like a toy. Can't imagine an adult wearing one. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

I was watching my wife drawing her eyebrows and I said "they look a little high".
She looked surprised.

Talking about overcrowding reminds me of The Drain. Waterloo to Bank. What a way to start a working day.

Have you any plans to change the rules for foreigners married to Thai (and those with children, if that makes a difference)?

You guys who bought the G3 - if you had the G2 (like I have) - is it worth the upgrade? If so, why?
Tempted but my G2's only 6 months (ish) old.

Hi
Anyone been to Genting recently? Must be 10 years since I was there.
Three quick questions:
1. How do you get to Genting from KLIA2?
2. Are there enough activities to occupy two kids (11 and 12 years old) for two days?
3. Can you recommend a hotel that has a family room? (or do you recommend one hotel over others?)
Thanks in advance.
All the best

Hi
Searched and couldn't find the answer.
If I go back to Ireland and apply for a non imm o based on marriage do I still have to have the 400k in the bank?
Thanks
Mick

Sorry, can't help, but if you go to Thaniya Plaza on Silom Road opposite O'Reillys (now Flan OBrians) they have a good selection at cheap prices.

Thanks all.
I've booked a flight to Savanakhet on Monday. Hopefully drop application in Tuesday morning and collect it Tuesday afternoon, then fly back to Bangkok on Wednesday.
Any recommendations for a hotel. Savanakhet looks quiet!? Guess that there's nothing really to do there (apart from drink beer - which suits me).
