The rules have always said the test results have to be issued no more than 72 hours before travel and not that the test had to be taken no more than 72 hours before travel, although people have always argued as to whether it was a mistranslation. If you can get your test results issued close to that 72 hour limit, and apply for your Pass immediately, and they really are getting them processed within 48 hours, you should be OK. For what it's worth, when I was traveling to a country that had the same rule (the critical time being when the results were issued), the clinic just reissued the confirmation certificate for me after the required time. I arranged it with them in advance, and it seemed like it was a pretty standard request.

You should have been given an ATK by your test&go hotel. They were required to provide it as part of the booking. But the ones I've had sometimes had a QR code and sometimes didn't, so you could use any ATK Nothing happens if you don't do it, except your status will stay orange and not turn green, which also doesn't seem to matter.

Yellow Fever is a single dose/lifetime shot. There is no booster requirement. It's been a recommendation since 2014, and the IHR since 2016. Even if your vaccination record has an expiry date, it's still valid for life now.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it can't connect to the Thai Pass. Sometimes it connects, but the upload notification never comes through. Sometimes the notification comes through, but the upload doesn't work, and they just keep resending the notification with a broken link. Sometimes it just works fine. Roll a dice and see what version you are going to get this time. Presumably it will be irrelevant after next month anyway since there will be no mandatory 5 day test.

No. I've flown out to the UK several times and there was no PCR requirement because the UK didn't require it. People often claim that airlines impose their own testing requirements (beyond what destination/transit country require), but as of yet, no-one has been able to provide a single example.

Officially, at the moment you need it to receive the notification to upload your Day 5 results, which may or may not even come through. I installed it, then force stopped it until the notification was due.

It doesn't matter. I have had 3 jabs in Thailand. They are all on the same certificate, and they all have the same QR code. I just upload the same certificate 3 times. I've applied for the Thai Pass multiple times and it has never been an issue.

This is on the Thai Pass site Unless they are changing the Thai Pass setup, so you can add new documents later without having to restart the process, then it looks like you can't apply for the Thai Pass until you have the 72 hr PCR test results. They are supposed to be speeding the TP process up though, so maybe it will be possible.

I can only speak of Manchester, and it's an absolute mess. They've hardly got any staff on passport control, and then I waited over 90 mins for bags to come out. The e-gates at passport control have been hit and miss, with either all or most of them out of service a lot of the time. Cynically, I wonder if the PC delays are deliberate, to reduce the wait and crowding in baggage claim. If it hadn't taken an hour to get through PC, I'd have been waiting even longer in baggage claim, but maybe they have their own problems too. Flying out was even worse. Qatar are opening their check in desk 4 hours before the flight now, and there were still people who missed the flight, probably because they couldn't get through security in time because the queues were ridiculous. In Manchester, it's mainly down to the airport managing company (MAG) laying off staff during the pandemic to save money and then not rehiring them until the last possible minute, without leaving time to get people security cleared and trained up.

Just so you know, 20kg is considered large here. My 13kg dog is usually considered medium, but sometimes even he gets classed as large. It makes a difference because the condos that do allow dogs usually have a weight limit. A lot of the condos we looked initially had weight limits of 8-10kg. My nearest BTS is On Nut. We rent a house with a decent sized yard. This was as far along the BTS line as we could come and still have a semi-reasonable commute. The yard isn't a substitute for walks, and my dog needs to get out for a proper walk every couple of days at least. We live on a long quiet street so we can walk locally a few times a day, but he gets bored with that, so we are leasing a car to get to Nong Bon. It's a PITA but I haven't found a better alternative yet. I've only been here a year, and I don't know if it's the same everywhere in the city, but around here there's a big difference between the soi dogs that live on side streets and the ones that live on waste ground or along the canals. The ones on side streets usually live alone or in a pair, and they are generally community dogs who are being fed and somewhat cared for by people along that stretch of the road. They aren't keen on new dogs in their area, but they get used to them after a few weeks and won't bother you or your dog after that. The other ones usually live in a small pack, and they are a lot more aggressive, especially with dogs. I can't walk along any of the canals round here, and there's only one patch of waste ground we can go on. That's because a community dog controls it and will allow my dog in there. She won't allow the pack from across the street in. Knowing what I do now, I probably would have gone for a condo in Downtown49 instead. It's the only truly dog-friendly condo I've found here, and there is a roof terrace where dogs can be off lead and play. (They are supposed to be on lead at Nong Bon though some people let them off at the end of the spur or when doing the loop). The ubiquitous condo shuttle goes to the two local paid dog parks as well. If I had the flexibility to move out as far as Nong Bon, I'd probably opt to move right out of the city instead.

Then it's a good job all the street dogs that roam the parks don't <deleted> there!

We've been going back and forth to Manchester with Qatar over the last few months. Doha airport is fine The only issues have been due to UK airports being absolutely chaotic now. Factor in plenty of time to get through passport control and collect your bags.

Barkyard and Unleashed have closed. The others are mostly malls.

How big is your dog? It's easier with a small dog because you can carry them when the street dogs are a problem. Dogs aren't allowed in most parks, and it's strictly enforced. There has been talk of them making a section of Lumpini or Benjakitti forest park dog friendly, but nothing seems to be coming of it. You can walk along the green mile between them, but not in the parks themselves. The main park that allows dogs is Nong Bon, and it's not exactly central, but it's worth the effort. There are several paid dog parks (e.g., Dogpark 49, Trail and Tail, Dogvibes). Some malls have dog areas too.

If you had an official NHS test, you can get it in the NHS App (but I don't know exactly how because I don't have it.) Otherwise, you can pay privately. I got one through Medicspot for £59, but you will need a confirmed positive test.

How you actually upload the results. Jumping through the hoops may be pointless, and they don't appear to do anything whatsoever with the information anyway, but you are still supposed to do it.

I have BOI 1 yr permits. I had to provide a medical certificate for the first one, and syphilis was one of the conditions on it.

A relative recently paid ~8,000 THB at Lohas Residences for 1 night with an express test. It came through in 2 hours. He landed at BKK 6.30pm, was tested at the hotel, had time for dinner and a shower and then his results came through. He was home by 11.30pm.

This seems to have changed very recently. It used to be orange until after the Day 5 test results were uploaded (when it was PCR and also when it changed to ATK). Now it changes to green after the first PCR test. I'm waiting to see if it goes orange again once the ATK is due.

1. You upload the information for each vaccination separately. You can upload individual certificates/codes, or you can upload the same one multiple times if they are all on the same certificate. 2. They want it to specifically say it covers COVID for at least $20k or equivalent. If it doesn't say that, ask them for a letter confirming it.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the point you are trying to make. You are considered 'recovered' or 'not infected' from the date your recovery certificate is issued. Obviously, you aren't 'recovered' or 'not infected' from the day you test positive. But it really doesn't matter what I think, since I don't set or implement the rules.
