  1. But perfectly fine to keep repeating a terrorist attack from 5 months ago as a justification for ongoing war crimes and genocide now.
  2. I'm getting really weary of attacking the messenger as a form of avoidance of debate.
  3. The thing about BTC and gold (even silver) is that they are limited in supply and have a defined and very liquid value. Silver is a good investment right now as the demand for semiconductors means the supply is about half of the demand as well as being a source of currency in its own right. Art or antiques are not liquid and no defined value at any given point in time. Silver and gold miners have been particularly beaten down on stock markets and ripe for a big bounce. A couple of weeks ago I put $100 into Bear Creek Mines at 0.16c and yesterday hit it with another $150 at 0.25c.
  4. “There is no single ‘Hamas,’” Tareq Baconi writes in his book, Hamas Contained: The Rise and Pacification of Palestinian Resistance. “It is an exercise in futility, as well as fundamentally inaccurate and reductionist to try to suggest that the movement is some form of monolithic actor,” Baconi continues. There are, within the organisation, hardliners and pragmatists, religious conservatives and comparative moderates, those who prioritise the armed struggle against Israel, and those, at least until recently, who sought gains through political means. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/mar/21/what-is-the-real-hamas
  5. Senate Dems push Biden to establish two-state solution for Israel, Palestine A group of 19 Democratic senators have sent a letter to President Biden urging his administration to establish a “bold, public framework” for a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine. https://thehill.com/newsletters/4545838-senate-dems-push-biden-to-establish-two-state-solution-for-israel-palestine/
  6. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) denied a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address the Senate Democratic caucus in a virtual meeting, arguing against approaching discussions on Israel through a partisan lens. Netanyahu, the right-wing Israeli leader, met with Senate Republicans in a closed virtual meeting on Wednesday. A spokesperson for Schumer said in a widely reported statement that the majority leader denied Netanyahu’s similar request for Democrats. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4546039-schumer-denies-netanyahu-request-to-address-democrats/
  7. Two days ago it had a flash crash to $8900 on bitmex. That would have wiped out any long stop losses in existence on that exchange. One should never buy BTC on an exchange instead of an ETF now. Who wants to invest in anything that volatile and prone to manipulation? Go for junior gold and silver miner stocks.
  8. Donald Trump’s leadership PAC spent another $5.6 million on legal expenses in February, furthering a trend that has seen the former president put valuable campaign dollars into his courtroom fights. That leadership PAC, Save America, was kept afloat last month by a $5 million refund from another Trump-related political group, the super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. The latter entity has now sent more than $50 million to Save America since last year to help cover Trump’s many legal costs. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/03/20/trump-leadership-pac-legal-bills-00148184
  9. Do IDF war criminals have value? A Palestinian boy is shot dead after he lit a firework. Israel’s use of deadly force is scrutinized A 12-year-old boy in east Jerusalem lights the fuse of a long firework and hoists it in the air. Then, just before it explodes and illuminates the night sky with a burst of red, he is shot in the chest by Israeli police and falls to the ground. Halhouli, the youngest of seven siblings, was shot at around 8 p.m. last Tuesday outside his home on a garbage-strewn alleyway, his father said. He was roughly 60 meters (200 feet) from the Israeli police watchtower; video of the incident shows Halhouli pointing the firework in the rough direction of the watchtower, but not directly at it. https://apnews.com/article/shaufat-israel-palestinians-jerusalem-shuafat-600690541cc356f7648ff6c3a2091004
  10. I had whooping cough as a kid. No idea if I could get it again or not.
  11. I believe it started with an L. I did try to read it but the doc was too quick. I asked if it was rocephin but she said it was not and that it was specific to upper respiratory tract. It was definitely an antibiotic. It's 80% better after 2 days but today there is some recurrence.
  12. I doubt that it was a virus or it wouldn't have responded to the shot so that leaves amoxyclav as ineffective. The cough was extremely violent and uncontrollable but fairly unproductive. It came on moments after I lay down and nothing alleviated it except getting up again.
  13. Mine. Palestine is not a state and therefore there was no act of war.
  14. The truth is that a military response to a terrorist attack is unwarranted. It should always be a judicial remedy. The Israeli response was collective punishment.
  15. I'm just getting over it. Hyper bad cough for days every time I lay down and it turned into pneumonia. I started self medication with amoxyclav but that didn't shift it at all. After 3 more days I went to the Buakhow clinic and they gave me a shot and some tablets. That helped after another day. I think the unlabelled black and red tabs must have ephedrine because I couldn't sleep last night. The shot is necessary. The OP symptoms were spot on, with minor nasal flow as well.
  16. I have never heard of Jews being referred to as "Hebrews". You have the tail wagging the dog here.
  17. De Nile is not just a river in Egypt. Do you deny the claim? Was it martians who caused this?
  18. "What's most troubling about Cannon entertaining Trump's Presidential Records Act argument is that's she's SEEN all the records now, during the Sec. 4 hearing. She knows they are all highly classified intel products. And yet she's still entertaining this 'personal' record BS," the account wrote on Wednesday. "At least during the search warrant litigation, she hadn't seen them, & there were some personal or some potentially borderline unclassified records caught up in the FBI search. So one can maybe give her a break there. But now, there's just no excuse. She knows the reality." https://www.rawstory.com/trump-most-troubling-cannon-ruling/
  19. Why not? Do you oppose it? May. he spend the rest of his worthless life in jail.
  20. Well, Gazans, obviously. The entire population of the war-torn Gaza Strip — some 2.3 million people — is now living through "severe levels of acute food insecurity," U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Tuesday. "We also see — again, according to, in this case the United Nations, 100% — the totality of the population — is in need of humanitarian assistance. Compare that to Sudan; about 80% of the population there is in need of humanitarian assistance; Afghanistan, about 70%." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-starvation-blinken-biden-netanyahu-rafah-operation/
