  1. I'll tell you why. It's also very obvious. It's historically ALWAYS been the case that Dems tend to vote more using mail in and drop boxes. This is why the GOP didn't want to count the mail in ballots and why they invented this stolen election theory surrounding mail in votes. They knew. There is not a US polittician alive who doesn't know Dems use mail in voting more than Republicans for a variety of reasons. It is a known historical fact with data readily available to check. It's also why GOP led states have been removing drop boxes.
  2. They look totally dead except for the beach road end, lucky star, etc all open. The sois themselves don't look like they will ever come back.
  3. I agree. I'd say Pattaya is close to 80% of businesses reopened. Certainly there aren't as many tourists as before unless you count Indians where there are more than ever before. Chinese tourists aren't rare either. I see more and more farang tourists around Pattaya in the past couple of months and I'd say that 99% of the retirees that normally live in Thailand are back. The bars are busy and Soi Buahkhao is busy, especially on weekends.
  4. Top aide to Pence testifies before 1/6 grand jury The former chief of staff to former Vice President Mike Pence has testified before a federal grand jury investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol, a person familiar with the matter said Monday. Marc Short, a close aide to Pence, was at the Capitol on the day of the siege and was with the vice president as he fled his post presiding over the Senate and hid from rioters who had stormed the building and called for his hanging. Short appeared before the grand jury after receiving a subpoena to do so, according to the person, who insisted on anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. https://apnews.com/article/capitol-siege-presidential-elections-election-2020-subpoenas-government-and-politics-5c6f96fac132d7d3773128ba03bba98b
  5. I can recite the entire kipping parrot sketch. Ridiculing the process of combatting disinformation isn't in the same league.
  6. Trump, Pence speeches put stark GOP divide on display Among his proposals, he called for executing drug dealers, sending the homeless to tent cities on the outskirts of cities, and expanding his Southern border wall. Biden joined in — on Twitter — dismissing Trump’s claim to have been a law-and-order president. Referring to the Capitol riot, he tweeted: “I don’t think inciting a mob that attacks a police officer is ‘respect for the law.’ You can’t be pro-insurrection and pro-cop – or pro-democracy, or pro-American.” https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-government-and-politics-14dad6900059354178c37e49bb445807
  7. Fortunately, I have had my monkey pox vaccine over 60 years ago so I can continue to use the dunny in bars.
  8. Vaccines have always been donated to third world countries, including smallpox vaccines.
  9. https://www.heat.gov/ A nice change from the Trump admin removing climate data from the EPA website and firing as many climate scientists as he could.
  10. They DO understand. Posting misinformation and conspiracy theories is the MAGA way. Recognizing the truth leaves no path to power. Fomenting a civil war is their only hope.
  11. Climate disinformation leaves lasting mark as world heats In 1998, as nations around the world agreed to cut carbon emissions through the Kyoto Protocol, America’s fossil fuel companies plotted their response, including an aggressive strategy to inject doubt into the public debate. “Victory,” according to the American Petroleum Institute’s memo, “will be achieved when average citizens ‘understand’ (recognize) uncertainties in climate science... Unless ‘climate change’ becomes a non-issue... there may be no moment when we can declare victory.” The memo, later leaked to The New York Times that year, went on to outline how fossil fuel companies could manipulate journalists and the broader public by muddying the evidence, by playing up “both sides” of the debate and by portraying those seeking to reduce emissions as “out of touch with reality.” https://apnews.com/article/wildfires-science-fires-american-petroleum-institute-014d4825f21084a80eb71414dbe63b9e
  12. Unfortunately he'll wait until after the mid terms which will give MAGA more time to push the stolen election lie and claim victimhood. Justice won't be served in a timely fashion.
  13. Illegals can't vote and there is no history of significant voter fraud due to voting without ID. If you had any links to evidence I'm sure you would have posted them so we can be confident that there are none.
  14. well, they wouldn't. It's the MAGA backing laws against free choice and using the pronouns. Of course, they're not freaking out. The car thief doesn't complain about cars being stolen, just the victims.
  15. Pilonidal sinus infection?
  16. CNN are reporting that hundreds of unmarked graves were found using ground penetrating radar.
  17. I take stinging nettle powder. I don't have any issues. I would not have been aware I had BPH until the specialist checked me. He said that my prostate was about 3.5 cm wide and was surprised I hadn't had any issues. He wrote a letter to my GP suggesting I take duodart but I refused until I see prostate problems. So, I can't say if stinging nettle works or not. I'm not going to stop unless I prove it's ineffective.
  18. They had every right to peacefully protest. The problem is they didn't.
  19. Not at all, fascism is normally fuelled by the rich. Fascism and Oligarchies go hand in hand. Think Russia, Putin draws all his support from his crony oligarchs. Trump was an oligarch and largely chose rich people people in his cabinet. China is no different. China is decidedly not a socialist country. It is in effect fascist with a president for life who is supported by the rich.
  20. If you're referring to me I'm not American. If you're referring to Trump [as President], nobody took up arms, they waited and voted him out. By a lot. If you're referring to Biden, I have heard and read that sentiment often. Pretty much everybody who believes in the big lie says so. The hate really started when Obama was elected. Black man in the White house and all that. White supremacist hate groups proliferated during Obama's tenure. Trump gave legitimacy and voice to the haters who had been largely kept under a lid previously. Again, I'll say I blame it on the southern baptist church who arose out of support for slavery and racial segregation. Nothing's changed except except the sponsors. Racial tensions inflamed in the south after the civil rights movement got rid of the Democrat Jim Crow laws until, during Nixon's tenure, the Republicans bought the franchise on racial hatred. We saw the race card played to the max by Trump and now others politicians on the right see mileage in extremist far right racist policies and replacing the "socialist" regime with a fascist regime.
  21. You're right, but he fell off the turnip truck over nationalism. Given his marching orders by the socialist party for being a warmonger.
