Big problem. -
Need a landscaper to install "grass blocks". Are they out there?

That's the problem. I've got one good guy that does work. Unfortunately half the guys in town are Yaba addicts and drink too much. I can't find an electrician. Hopefully talk with a few business owners in the next big town. -
I totally understand. I've got two sweet Golden Retrievers. All vaccinated and friendly. Soi dogs aren't really a problem up here in the open country. The adjoining village though they can be downright vicious and avoiding there excrement can be dicey. All that dogs**t running into there water supply. Brainless.

Soi Dogs are a huge problem in Thailand. Vaccinated or not. They need to be neutered. There freaking menace to society. Not much better than rats. -

..... Or have everything delivered for around 900 baht. Have everything on site ready to go. Unfortunately I've found in the end I should have used experienced contractors than village workers. Saving 10,000 baht or so usually shows in the compromised workmanship. Avoid using extended "family" members as "workers". -
Reducing my house electricity costs – any advice please .
MrJ2U replied to Custard boy's topic in The Electrical Forum
Your air-conditioning unit should have a dry mode. That decreases the humidity making your room more comfortable for sleep and uses up to 60% less electricity. Turn off the electric heater on your shower. They use more electricity than an air conditioner when in use. Your electric bill looks extremely low. Honestly you'll probably only save 100-200 baht before suffering quality of life issues. -

Same, Outdoor solar lights. Our house looks like a stadium from the distance. All lit up by Solar lights. -
They'll be getting hard cash. They'll definitely get enforced. The police also get a cut from the fines collected. You can expect a lot more road stops manned by RTP. 4,000 baht fine is equivalent to 13 days wages. It would be equivalent to getting a $1500.00 speeding ticket in the US. Extortionate in my opinion. way over the top in contrast to income. You want to punish them but not put them in more debt.

That's certainly not smart.

You need to wear a mask in Supermarkets.
-
The right thing to do is wear a mask in public places to help prevent the spread of COVID.
-
You think Thai people appreciate you not wearing a mask in crowded places. ... Also the mandate is for public places. Not private like Banks, shopping malls, Makro. You'll most likely be asked to wear a mask.

Very odd and disturbing antisocial behavior. Me thinks you're time in Thailand will be short. Hopefully.

He was convicted of 6 offences. "Webster was convicted of assaulting, resisting or impeding an officer using a dangerous weapon; civil disorder; entering and remaining in restricted grounds with a dangerous weapon; engaging in physical violence in restricted grounds with a dangerous weapon; and engaging in an act of physical violence on Capitol grounds." Prosecuters wanted 17.5 years. He got an additional 30 months for wearing body armor. 10 years, he got a break. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/nypd-officer-thomas-webster-sentenced-10-years-storming/story?id=89181223

COVID comes in waves. Many African countries were inundated with COVID cases just a few months. There trying to get up to speed on vaccines. Unfortunately ignorance plays a role. Im more of science guy so getting a vaccine along with almost almost 13 billion people make sense. At the moment you have the choice. I guess you'll follow the conspiracy theories to base your decisions. Unfortunately.
