  1. Which trains and restaurants in Thailand permit the smoking of joints in public?
  2. Enforcing their laws is crazy? Maybe Malaysia should repeal all their laws.
  3. Seriously? Energy prices have been rising since last year. You can thank the end of pandemic lock downs, Putin and the Green agenda. Seriously? Electricity charges have not increased. What's your agenda?
  4. "...and no change in use..." There have been no rate increases yet so there's something seriously wrong if you are really claiming that you haven't used any more units than last month. Your electricity supplier should be asked to check the meter. The number of units consumed is on your bill. Edit: Ok, ok, just seen his subsequent post in which he writes that he's now actually read his bill.
  5. Of course, they did, that's what bar owners pay their "retainer" to the police for, permission to be open and action when called upon for this sort of thing
  6. The probability is that the only law they are stepping up to is the one that compels them to display that notice!
  7. He went and carried on as normal even after he was involved in an incident in which there was a fatality? It was not a fatality at the scene, she died later in hospital. He did not "carry on as normal", he called the rescue services and waited there with the woman until she was being cared for (as the photo shows), at which point his presence was superfluous...he's not a medic.
  8. He called the emergency services and waited until they were taking care of the woman. What more do you expect him to do, or could he do, that would have affected anything?
  9. Oh well that's Ok then. How gracious of him. Gotta' keep those 10k baht payments flowing for attending + expenses+ free flights, cars, drivers and motorcades. The rescue services were called, he waited for their arrival and was pictured with them attending to the injured woman before he left. By the way, he wasn't the driver so he had no obligation to wait there, even though he did.
  10. He wasn't the driver of the car involved so could not be "held to account"! Regardless, his "getting out of harm's way" [sic] (presumably of responsibility?) doesn't correlate with his going to the hospital as soon as he could to check on the woman and, subsequently, offering compensation to her family.
  11. fake in this context means fake brand, I thought that was obvious. No, it would have been obvious if you'd written "fake brand" but you didn't.
  12. You'll find out a soon as you add it to your basket. But it is true, VAT is included in the price shown by sellers. The exception would be on items coming from overseas that may be subject to import duty and VAT imposed by Customs or the courier companies.
  13. Unfortunately for your astute observation, nowhere was "fake MSG" reported. Incidentally, "fake MSG" would not be MSG if it were fake and "fake salt" would not be salt, either.
  14. "the law doesn't apply to government owned banks here" Really? So which government owned banks are excluded from the scheme in your mind?
  15. Well isn't it normal to wait until the police arrive and then they take pics, measure skid marks, whatever they do. They would probably take statement etc.? Certainly he called the emergency services and they came, but according to the story, unless I have missed something, he then left for the airport. Police do not always attend traffic accidents in Thailand, many times the rescue services arrive, take care of the injured, insurance company reps turn up and that's it. He was a passenger, not the driver, no requirement for him to wait any longer than he did which was to wait to see the woman being treated by medics as the pictures show.
