Because the adults don't want them lol.
Forced vax kids? All sorts of issues there but sure, why not.

You really do not want covid in this country. If medical treatment needed you will be sent to hospital jail and charged 4-800k.

Enjoy your holiday$
Thanks for the monee. You can leave now farang.

What do you mean? Of course it's civilized. Any criminal in any European country would attack a Japanese or Chinese man with a camera.

Yeah, but that's Scotland. It's not like it's civilized or anything.

I really don't see how schools will open this year (2021-2). Covid numbers set records daily as more importantly deaths. Thai teachers at best have one worthless Sinovac vaccine. Most foreign teachers I suspect are not vaccinated.
Especially in better schools if you get covid you probably won't teach again for years until it dawns on the morons everyone will have had covid.
Of course, if you get covid you'll be packed off to hospital jail and asked for 500k to cover your forced incarceration. So, don't be so quick to return to that 30k job.
I could easily see it being term 2 NEXT year.
Vaccine situation is a total disaster and that's ok. It's the lockdowns, masks, faux science and for farang...forced hospitalization.

When will people ever learn that vaccines don't stop the virus from entering your body. Their job is to prepare "all hands on deck" for your immune system to do battle with these baddies once they're inside. Yes, she was infected, but what kind of damage was done to her subsequently? A little this (fever) a little that (sore throat, body ache), she'll be fine. Nothing to laugh at. Also how long after vaxxed that she got Covid? If less than 2 weeks then the vax prep wasn't done yet.
You're so shmart. Yeah, I got that my sub-genius friend. The irony is thick no? Especially that...
She's doing a masters at Boston College in Public Health.
Think she's with the right people to manage all that. Thanks for the smug guidance.

I have been here 24 years. Let's see...
90 day report 24x4 = 96 times
Annual extension= 24 times
Total reporting= 120 times
Plus I own my own condo, have a yellow tabien baan and pink ID card and old work permits.
You'd think that all this paperwork, especially the yellow book would have some clout.
My files must take up most of their space
????????
It's ridiculous.
You're looking at it the wrong way.
It's employment for RTP and voters (tax payer expense) for that side of the game.

I was same time aprox there yesterday and indeed some went inside but me and some others had collecting passports and directed to the waiting area ....maybe they restrict up to a certain number inside?
Anyway i had that different approach ...i can not say different .
I hope in a few weeks for ret.ext. i can go inside to desk 8 , as it takes a more personal approach ...example if bankbook and documents sometimes need on a page a forgotten signing or tel number to correct ....if would sit outside it could take a much "in & out " for that lady with risk bankbook or passport could get lost ????
However the waiting outside is indeed more covid safe
So, it's come to that? We risk our lives to get up and back on a variety of public transportation but they know better and keep the dirty farang at bay, outside. Why? It's obviously a danger and something that shouldn't be done at all.

A friend was once informed in the local office that they don't like the on-line reporting and want everybody to attend the office in person.
I told this to Ubonjoe and he scoffed. I conspiratorially believe the whole thing is a make work system. I doubt it will ever come back.
Of course, the human rights issue here is forcing us to do this nonsensical report in person literally some are taking their lives in their hands by reporting in person.
You could be stupid enough to do it by mail though.

Was it the carrots, or the buying of food? I'm not sure I understand the severity of risk.
It was the carrots. Standing in line with only three carrots. Meanwhile there were half a dozen people around him with no more than a meter at best distance.

Most diseases are beaten by clean drinking water and plentiful food.
I'm not sure vaccination or 'worldwide campaigns' plays any significant part.
I believe it certainly did with smallpox and polio. But these are stable virus unlike random influenza.
Influenza vaccines have never worked. I've never had one in my entire life. First, because I'm healthy and I have a fairly strong immune system. Second, they're no good and a waste of money. Back home I recall vividly each year some television announcer would say everyone go out and get your flu vaccine at blah blah blah drug store. Of course, it's only as good as xyz because we know that the flu constantly mutates blah blah blah.
If the AZ vaccine keeps me from serious illness and doesn't impact my long-term health I'll be more than happy with it. I fully expect at some point in my life that that virus will pass through me.

Smallpox
Polio (not entirely eradicated because of religion and human ignorance)
Also
Scarlet fever, Typhoid and Cholera are no longer common childhood killers.
But all still exist in the wild save for smallpox. Add MERS, ebola and monkey pox.
So, admittedly these viruses did not go gently into that good night but it was decades of fierce, worldwide campaigns.

Covid is not vanishing, correct,
1 hour ago, Inala said:You're obviously not a student of history. There have been pandemics for millenia. They all come to an end, one way or another. That's a simple, indisputable fact borne out by history. Covid is not vanishing, correct, but like the other many coronaviruses circulating on the planet, it's potency will be reduced by vaccinations and (eventual) herd immunity and life will return to normal as we exist alongside it. In the same way we live alongside bubonic plague, a bacteria which caused the worst pandemic(s) ever known to mankind and killed hundreds of millions. Covid19 is a little different, being more severe (transmissible) than the recent others of 1918, 1957 & 1968 as it had had it's properties altered by gain of function research before it entered into the human population. So there's that. But, in a few years time, history tells us it will be nothing more than a distant memory. Just bide your time.
Actually I am a student of history. Like the other poster you agree with me but then ramble on and taking some moral high ground while not entirely disagreeing with my position.
I never stated that the virus is not expected to disapate in strength merely that it will be with us forever. In fact, it's not even an especially problematic virus for those under 35.
Those over 60 and with underlying condition imo can expect problems forever as typical annual flu alone kills millions. While the danger of harm and dying has been over exaggerated for months it is and will be quite dangerous to older people and those with cardio problems. You also touch on the now known fact the virus was engineered which is also a huge unknown for this particular virus.
The vaccines are proving worthless. Israel is now triple vaxxing.
Question isn't whether you'll get it bc you will. Question is how you'll suffer it and come out on the other side

I definitely don't want any Chinese vaccine but okay with the Russian. As long as it's not mRNA I'm semi ok with it.

As I recall there were two tranches that both were over 5000. One was research the other was some nebulous BS.
Yeah, entirely corruption free. It's Thailand best not even make the statement!

Did I mention the nearly militant attitude of the women? Or the general sense of joylessness? Stupid.
Few want to admit it, but inflation is out of control in the US. Thanks. Not for me. Not for less than $1,000,000 a year.
Well, I guess you're not going anywhere.

Full dosage or microdosing lol??
So they can say the proper number of vaccine have been given - then pocket the balance.
It was 2.5m when first announced. Where'd that go?? Oh yeah, vips, military, police and their families.

the Emergency Decree is lifted, I suspect this will be before the end of the year.
It's been going on since forever. It's political as much as anything else.
With a maximum of another 25M first vax why would you think this? The emergency decree is more political than for public health.
