So, the word 'God' is a synonym for the word 'unknowable'. Right?
I've seen God referred to as "Great Mystery" in American Native Indian literature.

just got my first dose (moderna / not in thailand).
2nd dose is scheduled exactly in 16 weeks.

somebody mentioned flat earth and pseudo-science.
most people don't understand the big scientists like stephen hawking .... maybe because a lot of what they're spewing is nonsense.
i was into flat earth stuff a few years ago, then i gave up on it because i got distracted. but it's FUN to look into this stuff.
check out suspicious flight paths ...

If HE did create the Universe, let it evolve itself and washed HIS hands off, I feel that's a very irresponsible action.
first of all, we are only aware of what is happening on one tiny part of the universe ie this planet is not the entire universe.
second of all, to answer your main point ... maybe god is "testing you."

This is a cool music video about drugs from Foo Fighters.
They get high. At first the trip is good, but then they end up in some kind of "hell" that they have to escape from.

This is an interesting perspective from someone who has been reporting on drugs for many years.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/4/20/15328384/opioid-epidemic-drug-legalization
I used to support legalizing all drugs. Then the opioid epidemic happened.
By the time I began as a drug policy reporter in 2010, I was all in on legalizing every drug, from marijuana to heroin and cocaine.
It all seemed so obvious to me. Prohibition had failed.
Then I began reporting on the opioid epidemic.
In total, more than 560,000 people in the US died to drug overdoses between 1999 and 2015 (the latest year of full data available) — a death toll larger than the entire population of Atlanta. And while many of these deaths are now linked to illicit drugs like heroin and fentanyl, the source of the epidemic — what got people started on a chain to harder drugs — was opioid painkillers, and legal painkillers ...
Looking at this crisis, it slowly but surely dawned on me: Maybe full legalization isn’t the right answer to the war on drugs. Maybe the US just can’t handle regulating these potentially deadly substances in a legal environment. Maybe some form of prohibition — albeit a less stringent kind than what we have today — is the way to go.

maybe i am not good at selling stuff, but i have found facebook martketplace a bit frustrating.
sometimes people contact me to ask if the item is still available. i reply yes, and never hear back. i have to go through 15 people to sell 1 item. and you have to message back and forth.
if you have a lot of items and not much time, you may find facebook marketplace a bit tedious.

There are a number of causes for lower back pain.

If you ever experienced full on lower back pain, I don't think you'd recommend this as a pain relief treatment while it's happening.
last time i had serious back pain i couldn't get out of bed.
so i had to do stretches right on the bed.
once you can stand up, you can walk. maybe not as well as normal.
i never took painkillers.
walking is a long-term solution.
no problem to take painkillers for immediate relief, but if you don't fix the underlying problem you will be dependent on them. what are the side effects of long-term use? read the fine print on the label.

Thanks for all your comments.
This thread has made me realize that the situation is much more complex than I originally thought, so I will refrain from following this crisis any further or try to decide which "side" to take. May the fleas of a 1000 camels infest the armpits of people harming children.

You're an "Old Testament" kind of guy, right?
An eye for an eye?
Your ex-wife (or string of ex-wives) cheated on you.
So you make a game out of cheating with other guy's wives?
Sorry, I'm not into that.
To each his own.

Do you believe in God and why

Jesus seemed like a pretty cool dude. Assuming half of the quotes attributed to him are actually real. But one drawback is that he's not alive today.
Is threatening people to "believe or else" a good thing?
You only have ONE saviour? That's a shame. Why limit yourself? I have amassed thousands of bits of wisdom from many people Jesus-Christ type characters over the years.
One example is Van The Man Morisson, who reminds me to "fight every day to keep mediocrity at bay". This inspires me to try to make my life interesting.
The best "religion" is piece-meal and doesn't have to come from "holy" texts.
