It is also true that the manufacturing might of China will keep advancing
maybe not. if the AI advances, cheap human labor is not longer needed and manufacturing can be done anywhere.
this conversation is going off on too many tangent. i'm out.
i've never been into the stock market. and to me, this stuff is even more risky. but good luck if it works for you.

But yes, wrong forum to be discussing this;
This thread started as advertising/soliciting.
If you're all experts and don't need to debate, that's fine.
But if you solicit on a public forum, expect to come across people that refuse your services or at least try to get you to justify what you're selling.

get through the economic turmoil that is going to characterize this post-Covid decade. The world order, as we knew it, will utterly change over the next few years and life is going to be a lot more expensive.
things could go in the opposite direction.
increased automation may drive down prices.
china is already putting out ridiculously cheap electric vehicles.
yeah, if i only had invested in apple stocks, i wouldn't be "stuck in the middle" of clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right.
it doesn't quite work that way. the stock market is essentially gambling. gamblers are like junkies. they don't just go for one fix. even if you make money in one stock, which you inevitably will, it's a never-ending cycle. you will need to reinvest the winnings somewhere else to get another fix. and the dealer (maybe not always, but usually) wins. conversation over. I'm not playing dog-coin or cat-coin anytime soon.
neem, who is that on your new avatar?

Early investors in crypto indeed have millions. I think this is why many who missed the boat, and subsequent train and plane are so anti it.
Yes, I missed the boat.
And now I'm bitter.
And I will need to resign to drowning my sorrows in girlie bars.
You have me all figured out.

Well, I believe the privacy coins are exactly that, and I have millions riding on that belief.
Millions? Really? You're worth that much?
So you're putting all your eggs in one basket?
And you still make time for poetry?

If I am accused of trolling, then I stand guilty as charged!
I would like to offer a better alternative to stablecoin.
Ladies and gentlemen .... I am pleased to announce to you ... SHAKYCOIN!
In all seriousness, Forbes has a cautionary article.
Sorry to rain on your parade, Neer.
But with the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the doldrums, a new scam is rising to the top, like bits of toilet paper in sewage: stablecoins.
Just one problem: as with any Ponzi scheme, the value of your investment is stable until the bottom falls out, and it becomes worthless. Your money, meanwhile, is in the pockets of the scammers.

Communism or socialism, history has shown us that these ideals simply don't work and end up causing oppression, poverty and desperation.
There is always that risk.
Then again, a lot of employers are corrupt and oppressive.
And it seems like the bots are coming for many of our jobs ... soon.

This infatuation with profit and greed has killed philanthropy,
and made life boring.
I have come across many sources that would suggest that capitalism as we know it may possibly be dying.
Which a lot of people who are money-obsessed won't like. But if it happens, it will free up people to do more work that is based on being of service to others rather than just accumulating wealth.

Harvard is still Harvard, Yale is still Yale, Oxford is still Oxford.
I 100% disagree that young people are a lot smarter and Thailand is a good example. 2021 Thailand has no space program, no advanced manufacturing and are the slave labor for Japan. The country has not advanced education at all for the longest of time.
Looking something up on Youtube does not make a person smart.
University programs are bloated and full of useless theoretical garbage that only serves to keep people on a payroll. Most university programs can be cut down in half.
Oxford is only accessible to rich kids. Making classes available to anyone with a device means poor kids from Isaan can access the highest levels of education. Which seems to be where the tech is headed.
There is a lot of very useful information on Youtube and other sites that is not available in any formal school.
If education is preparing for a job, then a formal school still wins. If education is lifelong learning for personal growth, then the internet wins.

I'm getting a bit old for the hookers now, very soon my only hobby will be booze.
Hopefully I'll be able to continue with the booze hobby until the day I die.
That's exactly why you need a REAL hobby - to moderate the drinking.
Best of luck.

just did a quick search. it seems to contain an ingredient that was banned by the FDA.
i would do a thorough google search before taking it.
for weight loss (and health), i would recommend a low-carb diet.
