43k is cheap compared to the bill for a covid related hospital stay.

If you cannot afford it.... Don't come !!

yet many Thai co.s  were  cashing in offering insurance at the start for 1000 baht which i took  up and renewed, then some said they werent  paying, always "trust" Thailand.

  2. Well any checkpoints MAY ask for  money but to be honest i drove 6  months with a new  pick up with NO plates ( From BKK to Hua  Hin regularly)  at  all, got  stopped in BKK  at a toll  booth paid 1000 baht fine with ticket, Wife  called friend in the Thai SAS ( no  kidding) he  called them and got it  cancelled  although I did  note that someone paid 100  baht according to the ticket. Looks  like the Police cant cancel but reduced it to 100 and paid it themselves.

Because manufacturers recommend that oil changes are made at mileage intervals or after time periods, regardless of whether the vehicle has been driven.

nah, so  oil  on the shelf in a container could  have set there for years, the time is  usually  for  people who do SHORT  journeys where engine never gets  warm and is  full of condensation, I would change brake  fluid  though many reccomend 2  years  now for that, id also check everything inc air filters and importantly  rat/mouse infestation. If its a diesel change the fuel  filters that  bio diesel forms  fungus

  5. IF you can still find a new one, and there may just be some about, Chevrolet did the Trailblazer and HEAVILY discounted it when they shut their  factory, still  has  3  year warranty and the prices were  reduced by 300k + for some models, the ad  below is  older the prices for this  model are  now 895k Thats the best bang  for your  buck

This protest is not about people who drive pickups

It is about people who drive Class One and Class 3 trucks for a living, the deterioration of their wages while the cost of living climbs ever upward.

Everything - world wide - you use daily, live in, wear, is brought to you by trucks.

How hard is it for them .......UP the price , thats gets  passed on to everyone, thats just how it  is

Maybe your ideas about the quality of Chinese-built MGs are outdated?

    MG Reviews

unfortuantely these  days many "reviews" are  subject to ad  revenue and a bad  review can mean  ad  revenue  drys up. John Cadogan pulls   no  punches in his  reviews  though he doesnt do many as manufacturers steer  clear of unbiased  reviews

My wife and I were just in it, coming up from the South, in Samut Songkram. An impressive turnout. Many of the trucks were labeled with numbers, I saw as high as 50 as others were joining them.

Google Translate: "Covid hasn't ended yet. You have to fight the cost of fuel. Have some sympathy for the people! #expensiveoil"

Certainly has gotten expensive. 700 baht used to fill the tank. On this trip it now took 1100.
