if it persists I suggest OPERA is very relaxing on your own massive sound system right next to his patrons wall, those systems actually are pretty cheap, also leave a concrete mixer going day n night with some gravel in right next to him when they open, stick it on a timer to go off at 12 which is a time they think is ok to make anoise until.

I'd better keep my head down then as I'm on a 22 day overstay & counting...
Obviously I'm not (did my annual extension in August & it's good till 26th September 2022) but according to Immigration records I am ????
It's not like they don't know where to find me seeing as I've done a TM30 & 90 Day Report in the past 3 weeks :s
Same with me , been on "overstay: since March according to those watts and their hi tech super duper computer system

Oddly they are deporting him to the UK where if you stay there as an illegal immigrant then you get an apartment, colour telly and 100 quid per week from the Government!
and guaranteed free covid jab, perhaps that was his plan

No details on how it tracked down the overstayer? Facial recognition? Cell phone tracking? Vaccine induced microchip?
They used mind rays

If there s a Thai driveir driving it then the way they could really keep Thailand safe is by taking it off the road

I can believe it ... and they keep quiet about it too, nor pursue the miscreants.
Had a pal scammed, someone persuaded his phone supplier he wanted to transfer the number to another carrier... so they got all his OTPs. Serious money taken...
best was their pathetic chip and pin they introduced years back, yeah going to stop credit card fraud............huh! And now they have the incredible noncontact payment cards that just pay automatically for you in stores.....where people have been swindling you there too

Interesting juxtaposition of info in the article you linked above...
This:
"adding that commercial banks regularly check their security systems to screen for suspicious transactions."
vs.
This:
"According to the “Drama-addict” Facebook page, as many as 40,000 bank customers may have been affected by what they suspect is the work of hackers."
From all the reports of bank fraud involving customers being mentioned here, it doesn't sound like the banks' supposed screening has been doing a very good job!
One of my friends in the Uk does security works for the banks and he says you would not believe how bad their security actually is

Good time to buy, though many would still advise hang back a while, prices may drop further.
Bad time to rent. Rents are relatively low at the best of times, but you might not be able to rent at all for sometime.
No one knows for sure, but I would hang back
Dunno about hanging back but if you rent it expect teanants to not take any care of it whatsoever and plan on a full renovation when you want to move in, most are dirty pigs.

Personally, until recently, I've never considered her a freeloader. Not contributing $ to a relationship is not the same as not contributing anything to a relationship.Sounds like all she contributes is grief

I own >1 condos in Thailand, we live in one of them. In these bizarre Covid19 times, unloading them quickly and/or without significant loss is unlikely so me disappearing completely out of Thailand is somewhat difficult.
I fully expect a police complaint and a long sad story and worse, as she threatens with that and more whenever she is in a rage. Her rages make Thai TV drama look like a well behaved kindergarten. If these rages weren't so regular I wouldn't be planning to leave ????Jesus Christ change the locks change the phone and dump the pair of them, if thats how she is, staying with anyone like that you must be nuts, check into a hotel for a month, you owe her nothing, shes had 10 years of freeloading.

Ever watch a Thai Soap Opera TV show?
They yell and scream allot, all sorts of drama, get violent including death threats, try to get you arrested, start all kinds of nasty rumors about how you beat them, are on drugs, never took care of her and fondled the child, steal everything they can, vandalize the place, change your passwords, smash your phone, steal your passport, take the credit cards, drain the bank account and maybe slit their wrists with a dull knife or jumps off the balcony.(you pushed her of course)
Big loss of face, servicing a farang for 10 years and leave with nothing.... How stupid! Her friends and family will persuade her to take the apartment, car, bank, TAKE EVERYTHING!!
Well, thats going to happen to you.
cuz theyre all the same right
