    I recall maybe my first front seat experience here. Thai friend of my wifey had her front seat pulled up so much forward that her knees were touching the steering wheel. Then she drove 130 k's per hour while staring straight ahead. No idea of what was going on around her, including the pick-ups doing 160+ k's.????????

    Minimal flooding only occurs Darkside when the water is running downhill to central Pattaya and accumulating the rubbish from a thousand drains. Walk in Soi Lengkee during a downpour, good luck.????????

    The dog from #4 house in my soi comes and nudges my gate open if unlocked. That tells me it is just on 05:00. He will sniff and push around any food I give him. Then it is gone in a flash. Yes, the soi cat is finnicky.????????

    I don't have these things that close to my front gate. But I understand where you are coming from. I have Mom & Pop shop 300 metres away. (Just gotta beat the soi dogs off after nightfall.) Soi Khaotalo, another 200 metres off (and more beating of soi dogs.) Easy peasy.????????

    True. Same here East Pattaya. I supported the street vendors and local markets more than usual but it was pretty much same same business for them. Maybe my 40 baht noodles didn't make a tremendous amount of difference but maybe it helped? I now eat a lot of street food.????????
