Most banks in Thailand, you just can transfer up to 50k baht in, in one go (unless you use one of the 3 or 4, which allow higher transfers). Monday, I paid international school fees. As recipient, directly the school and not first to me in Thailand and then to school account. Was well over 200k. Money was send without any problem, in one go and credited to school almost immediately. Why can't we transfer to ourselves over 50k and when we pay others, there's no limit (apparently).

It always seems that someone just speeds up when seeing someone on a zebra crossing. I would like to see a survey of how many thais actually know the meaning of it.

Lovely My daughter's last 90 days was done online on 25th August and quickly approved. Did the report online again on the 16Th November but was always pending. On 23rd of Nov, did it again and was also pending. Today, I got a "rejected". Lovely, isn't it. Now is too late to do it again or to send by post. What losers they are. It's a constant lottery with them.

They were targeting foreigners. He didn't speak a word of english. Not interested in my car documents. Wanted my passport and me out of the car. Wanted to take my phone to look for passport photo himself. Told him to not touch my phone and to give me some privacy. Later took photo of my passport and visa picture. Insisted to take a photo of me, in front of my car. Yes, he didn't like it. No call he said. I did call, phone was ringing and the other end accepted the call. Investigation was quickly over.

And China in lockdown again as yesterday was the biggest daily increase in Covid.

I came back from Pattaya last week. Went to see a friend who opened a bakery. Drove some backroads to reach to motorway. Before entering motorway, I saw some police officers, stopping cars, especially with foreigners. A few foreigners were already out of their cars. One police off. came to me and asked driving license. I had to park a bit further. Didn't ask for road tax or insurance or car documents. Asked for my passport. I told him, he has my driving license in his hands and I don't have my passport on me but a photo on my phone. I had to step out of my car. He was looking at my phone when I was searching the right picture. I told him to give me a bit of privacy and don't stare at my phone. I showed him my passport page and visa stamp. He insisted to make a photo of it with his phone. Later I had to stand in front of my car and he wanted to take a picture. I asked him what the problem is and that I will call a friend in BKK. I called and my friend took the call. Quickly I got my drivers license back and off I went.

As we are still in the 14 days limit, I did the 90 days report 2 days ago, again. Got message that I did already do the 90 days and if I want to do it again. I did and still showing as pending.

She was taken to the station for further checks if she was the real deal.

Submitted on 16th. Just checked and still "pending". Can they ever get something working for a while?

Mine was approved in 2 days. Daughter and mom got email that 90 days was due. Did it online as always and got straight email back that it was submitted. Now still pending from 16th.
