I use WISE for 11 years now but the last few weeks it has started. Set up a new beneficiary and see how it works. Last 2 months, no problem, this payment now under review until Wednesday. Same when I paid last month my insurance. Came up as being paid but a few days later, money back to my bank account. I contacted insurance company and they contacted Krungsri. Krungsri didn't reject any payment and WISE said it must have been the receiving bank.

The question is not if I have money in my local account or not. It is to highlight the problems to send now money to Thailand; I have enough money here but with the new tax implications, I am sure that many pay now bigger bills like rent, insurance, school fees etc from a foreign source instead to first send it to your own Thai account and then to make the payment. I did send the rent money a few months without any problem but suddenly WISE requesting DOB, address and full name of landlord. I can't even cancel the transfer and it will take until Wednesday. I will stop to use WISE because the last month, you never know if your transfer takes seconds or days or is completely rejected.

And the story continues. Last month, I paid my rent in Thailand, using WISE. Went through without any problem. 1 hour ago, i went on WISE, clicked, repeat payment to same recipient and money sent. Got straight away an email form WISE saying: We need more from you before starting transfer to XXXXXX If the recipient is a person, please give us their fukk name, DOB, and country they live. I competed again their full name and Bangkok Bank account but things didn't get better. I clicked on: cancel transfer. Wise did not let me cancel this transfer. Now it says: Sending We're running some checks. Sorry for the wait, we should be done by Tuesday 01 July; Wednesday, 2nd july at 14:13 xxxxx receives your THB Rent is due by latest 30th not 02nd of july; I have also a Revolut account. 2 weeks a made a transfer to pay my Thai Health Insurance. For me, all was ok. Later I got an email from insurance to say that they could not renew policy as no payment received. The same day in the afternoon, Revolut sent me an email saying that the money has been sent back. Receiving bank was Krungsri. Insurer contacted Krungsri but they don't know anything about a rejected payment. I got my money back to my Revolut account minus 840 Baht fee that someone has taken but nobody knows who has taken that fee. It's starting to get frustrating with those banks.

And the story goes on... As I knew last week that UOB was not more receiving money through WISE, I opted to open a Krungsri account last Friday. Yesterday morning, I transferred 10,000 THB from WISE to Krungsri. All seemed fine. Money should arrive in 10 min. Money debited on waiting to be credited with Krungsri. Nothing happened. I transferred yesterday morning 10k Thai Baht to THB from Wise to Krungsri/daughter's account and it was credited in seconds. 27 hours later, still nothing in my bank. Went to Krungsri and they couldn't locate anything. Called WISE. They are trying to find out what happened. I checked on WISE transfer confirmation and found something that I never saw before: Banking partner: TRANSGLO SGP (THB) Apparently many people having the same problems. Paying school fees, rent etc will now be a challenge. Waiting for feedback from WISE and Krungsri.

Good morning, I am now 7 years here and just have 1 account with UOB. Every month I send from my WISE account Thai Baht directly to my UOB account. A few days ago I was doing my usual transfer but the following message came up: We can not send to this recipient/ The recipient bank currently does not support border remittances. I thought it was something temporary. Later, tried again but same message. I called WISE and they said that they will look into this. Next day I go an email, saying to send them a screenshot, what I did but they can't tell me, why this is happening. I called UOB and from their site, no restrictions on my account. I tried WISE again but same. I tried to set up a new recipient with a Thai account. I scrolled down the "chose bank" and UOB didn't come up. My friend tried as well to transfer to her UOB account, same issue. She also pays her rent directly to landlord through WISE. Landlord is banking with TTB. Here the same issues. Not possible to send money to TTB. Does anyone have the same issues? Neither WISE nor UOB are able to resolve this. Thanks

UK & Thai Police Partner to Enhance Custody Conditions in Thailand

I checked all paperwork from my lawyer. They declared "paperwork-contracts". Weight: 2kg. Price: 68£ If I refuse the package, it won't be returned. Those are important documents and can't be easily replaced. -
UK & Thai Police Partner to Enhance Custody Conditions in Thailand

Sorry to post my request here. It seems it can't be seen by others. Good morning, I'm in the following situation. I own a commercial property in the UK. A new tenant took over the property and a new lease was drawn up by my lawyer. Months ago, my lawyer forwarded me the lease documents to my condo in BKK to be signed and send back to him and later to be signed by the new tenants. I received the paperwork, signed and sent it back (signed for) through thai post office. Papers received by lawyer in less then 10 days. Papers forwarded to tenant's lawyer to let his customer sign and then back to my lawyer. Once received, the lease was officially registered at the "Registers of Scotland". Now, that's an important document and my lawyer decided to send it to me, using the service of UPS. Cost 65£ It left Scotland on 29/11 and went to Germany, China and finally to Samut Phrakan warehouse on 05th of december. Every morning an updated: Scan warehouse Samut Phrakan. Your package is awaiting release from a non UPS broker. On 09 December, message: UPS has contacted the shipper for customs clearance information. Since then, each day same message: Scan warehouse Samut Phrakan. Expected delivery was Friday 13. I tried to contact UPS here and phone number given never accepted any call. Last week, I contacted my lawyer to get in touch with UPS and got the following answer: Dear customer, TH customs hold your package. This shipment must do import formalities for release this package from TH customs. Choice 1: Use UPS for customs clearance Choice 2: Use alternative broker for customs clearance. Choice 3: Reject the parcel If choosen Choice 1: Use UPS for customs clearance but WE DO NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR APPLYING ANY IMPORT. Please follow customs import formalities process as below: Step 1: Register with customs department to be an importer or exporter and appoint UPS as an export agen. Step 2: please advise description of goods as below: 1 What product 2; Brand name 3. country of origin 5. proof of payment 6. copy of passport Or use a different broker for customs clearance. FEES: Service charge: 1,391 baht Entry warehouse fee: 1,091 baht Thai airways daily fee: 173,88 baht per dayCustoms fee: 200 baht Fee for amending customs documents: 1,321 baht Customs department fee: 200 bahtTax: 7% They can't be right in their head. UPS was given the job to handle the transport of the documents. It was a Din A4 envelope with important documents. Weight declared 2kg Sender: Law office Receiver: myself Declared item: documents. Any idea how to handle this situation. I often send paperwork back to UK and never got any problems. My daughter got yesterday her Christmas presents: a box with gifts and sweets and no problem at all. Thanks, -

90 days report by post
RafPinto replied to RafPinto's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Main envelope with all paperwork (TM47, all copies and another self addressed envelope was sent to immigration office). Inside this letter was a self-addressed letter with stamps applied. Return envelope not EMS. Just stamps applied. I already did this a few years ago for myself and always got my envelope sent back to me by immigration office. As for my ex, her online 90 days report didn't work last time. She went to do it in person at CW office. This time, decided to do it by post. Still waiting for return envelope. 31 days passed already since posting the envelope. -

90 days report by post
RafPinto replied to RafPinto's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I paid something like 40 baht (don't remember exactly). I read about the 10 baht but the girl at the post office was well aware as she sees a lot of foreigners to post letters to CW and she said that's something like 40 baht. Now just sit and wait. If not feedback from CW, next 90 days in person and showing them all prove that the last one was sent by post (in case they want to apply a fine). Thank you -

Thanks DrJack54 18 days before due date, I posted the envelope to CW. As said, 4 weeks gone by, no response. Question is: if nothing received, how to do the next 90 days? Again by post, assuming it's 90 days on top of the last due date or going to CW in person and if they want to charge a fine, showing them prove that the last one was sent in by post. Thanks -
Hi all, My ex can't manage to get her 90 days report accepted online. Always came up as rejected. For this reasons, she travelled to Chaeng Wattana to do it in person. Filled exactly the same infomations on the form and accepted without any problem. 4 weeks ago, for her and our daughter, I did it by post. Copy of passport, copy of last 90 days report, TM 47 competed etc. Letter addressed at immigration office CW, inside an envelope with her address and stamp applied. This letter was send "signed for". Photos taken of all documents including envelope. 3 days later, envelope was received by immigration and signed for. Now it is already 4 weeks and still nothing back. Any idea of how long it will usually take? What happens if they don't send a 90days report confirmation back? Thank you

True. I see far less buses pumping black smoke. More often you see converted pick-up trucks with black smoke when they try to impress someone.

Keep horses back. I did not say that I move to Malaysia. And by the way, I have a 5 year visa stamp in my passport. I can leave and come back as it suits me. -

And in Malaysia, you can import your own car.
