CONCLUSIONS
Our results suggest that the inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine effectively prevented Covid-19, including severe disease and death, a finding that is consistent with results of phase 2 trials of the vaccine. (Funded by Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo and others.) -

Sinovac’s Vaccine Found Inferior to Pfizer Shot in Chile Study
By Jason Gale
July 7, 2021, 9:17 PM EDT Updated on July 8, 2021, 6:30 PM EDTSinovac Biotech Ltd.’s vaccine was less potent than Pfizer Inc.’s at stopping Covid-19 in Chile where the two shots were used simultaneously, allowing the first real-world comparison of the two inoculations. China’s CoronaVac was 66% effective in preventing Covid among fully vaccinated adults, compared with 93% or the jab made by Pfizer and its partner BioNTech SE.
The research shows both shots protect against severe disease. Sinovac’s inactivated inoculation, given to more than 10 million Chileans, was slightly less effective in preventing hospitalization and deaths than Pfizer’s messenger RNA vaccine, which was administered to fewer than half a million people, according to the study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

So then there may be 14 persons in Phuket who will appreciate your generosity.

Deceased Samut Sakhon doctor was not vaccinated against Covid-19
Published : July 13, 2021
The Samut Sakhon public health office clarified on Monday that the late Dr Phicheat Sahakij, who worked at Suang Luang Hospital in Krathum Baen district and died from Covid-19 on July 10, had not been vaccinated against the coronavirus.“Phicheat or Dr Neung was never vaccinated as he has chronic diseases: allergy and asthma,” said Dr Naresrit Khatthasima, chief of the Samut Sakhon public health office. “He developed severe symptoms after infection, coupled with his health problems and exhaustion from working long hours at the hospital. These likely caused the Covid-19 symptoms to develop into pneumonia and respiratory failure.”
On Sunday, the Department of Disease Control reported that 880 medics had contracted Covid-19 since the latest wave began in April and seven have died; five were unvaccinated, one had received a dose of Sinovac and another had received two doses of Sinovac. It also said that of those infected, 19.7 per cent, or 173 people, had not been vaccinated.

U.S. Officials Press Pfizer for More Evidence of Need for Booster Shot
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/12/us/politics/pfizer-booster-shots.html July 12, 2021
“Antibody response is not the only measure of immune protection,” said Dr. Leana S. Wen, a former health commissioner for Baltimore. “There have been multiple studies that suggest these vaccines also stimulate B cell and T cell immunity, so even if there isn’t as much antibody, that doesn’t mean someone isn’t protected.”

Good. Your opinion with zero substantiation of anything you write should be the gold standard. I do my best to post verifiable sources without opinion from me. You seem to do the opposite.
The only emotional investment I have is with the billion plus people in the world who will get Sinovac and likely nothing else and then have to deal with social media saying Hey! the a vaccine you just received is useless.

I’ve noticed you get belligerent when people respond to your posts. I really don’t know why. It serves no purpose and is certainly unnecessary.
let’s just say that people can read your post and the attached article, then read my post and form their own opinions.
I posted an article with zero editorial comment from me. You then post a response with all sorts of assumptions and not one link provided to any source to substantiate your claim. You also seem to imply that the Bloomberg article is sloppy reporting. I didn't write the article and I made no claim that I agree with everything said in the article.

Thailand to Follow Sinovac With Astra Vaccine in World First
By Randy Thanthong-Knight
July 12, 2021, 6:25 AM EDTThailand will start administering the Sinovac Biotech Ltd. and AstraZeneca Plc shots as part of one Covid-19 vaccine regime, in a world first aimed at increasing protection against the more contagious delta variant.
The Southeast Asian nation will start giving the China-made Sinovac vaccine as a first shot to be followed by Astra three to four weeks later, health ministry officials said at a briefing near Bangkok Monday.
The decision is based on three separate local studies, which showed that following Sinovac with Astra elicited an immune response that’s as high as using two doses of Astra 12 weeks apart, according to Opas Karnkawinpong, director-general of Thailand’s Department of Disease Control. The new regime will allow the nation to quickly ramp up immunity against the delta variant, Opas said.

I very much doubt that......currently everything is being monitored and I think you'll certainly find research on that - it's just a matter of looking and hat kind of study.
To the above:
"After initial doubts owing to a lack of transparency in clinical trial data, Sinovac Biotech's (SVA.O) COVID-19 vaccine is emerging as a powerful tool against the virus. Data from Uruguay released last month showed it was over 90% effective in reducing both intensive care admissions and deaths."
While the referenced Uruguay report does not specifically mention Delta variant, from this chart you can reasonably suspect that was the case:

According to https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/vaccines/7/ Sinovac has been approved in 37 countries. They can't all be influenced by CP.

Yes, and private hospitals have stated that if the Thai government allowed them to order Pfizer and Moderna from their long term business partners, they'd have had it many weeks ago.
Why didn't the Thai government allow them to purchase it? I think the BP article gives the answer.
Pfizer has issued a statement that they will only deal with central governments and supra-national agencies:
Pfizer has said that it is “working with federal governments across the world to supply its Covid-19 vaccine for use in national immunization programs. Our supply agreements at this time are with national governments and supra-national organizations with allocation of doses and implementation within the country being a decision that governments take based on relevant health authority guidance. This approach Pfizer has followed across the world."

Both Pfizer and Zuellig Pharma (SE Asia agent for Moderna) are long-time players in Thailand with substantial existing business in Thailand aside from vaccines. They are not babes-in-the-woods as regards US FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act).

He also said, however, that a study of antibodies among people who have received two doses of Sinovac vaccine, jointly conducted by doctors at the Central Chest Institute of Thailand and the National Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (Biotec), shows that their antibodies measured 70% and are barely efficacious against the Alpha (UK) or Delta (Indian) coronavirus variants.
Fine. He said 'barely efficacious'. Not zero
