You can do a 90 day report up to 14 days early. If you are within that widow when you apply for your extension you can do it then.

It is possible to it online but not if it is your first report.

If not the first you can do it here. https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

I did my 90 day report today for the first time.

So I can report online in December?

  2. Generally things went smooth.

No 'Under consideration' stamp, no second trip required to get the entire 60 days.

But I had to sign 90 days report form this time.

My visa will end in late November, and my 90 days report will be due in December.

Will it be possible to do the 90 days report online for December?  Or will I have to go to the immigration in both November and December?

Please let me know if there is a way to do it online. Thanks!

There are alot of strange people in this world who have a very bizarre notion of the definition of the word treason. I think alot of Thai people would agree that these guys are the last people in the world, who could be considered reasonable judges of what is good for the nation, and the Thai people.

I read some of your comments.  You write well!  I'm sure you are read a lot!

  4. "Room Nights" is becoming a new unit of measurement. They should just call it the "RN".

In my entire life, I've never thought I'd be reading any news about economic performance backed by data measured in "RN".

In order to make sense of this data,  I'll have to see the data of previous "RN", before this one, so I could at least have a sense of how much weight this "RN" has.

Maybe this is  because I don't work in the hospitality sector.

I'm more used to seeing revenues and profits, probably most of us are.

It says that they have generated 58.90 million Baht in revenue over 3 months.

That is about US$1.75 million for 3 months.

That is about US$584,000 for a month.

That is even lower revenue than my friend's chicken wing restaurant back home.

Maybe this is better than nothing?

I'll have to see the profit to tell.

    So where is the profit?

Wouldn't it be better to fix a date instead of shifting the date all the time?

A 1st december opening date would be more realistic, by that time most people would have been vaccinated in times for the Christmas and year end holidays.

Yeah I agree.  I think they should fix a realistic date and just go for it.

Its not like people all over the world are just waiting for that moment Thailand finally reopen.

I think it will be very easy for someone to just skip Thailand this year, and go somewhere else.

It wouldn't be a hard decision to make.

Anyhow. Looking at how things are going, not many tourists will come to Thailand this high season.

Let them get the vaccine in their own country. We need them for the people who live here.

Yeah? Not the attitude one nation should have when they are getting so much vaccines donated for free and getting their people overseas vaccinated for free.

They need to speed up their vaccinations if they intend to fully reopen this year.

It's not impossible for them to reach 70% + fully vaccinated this year, but it will require some effort.

Anyone know how the anti vax feelings are in to Thailand.

Lots of sceptics or do they just want their shots so the wheels can start turning again?

I believe it is possible to reopen Thailand before the year end too. That is, if they focus on what actually matters, which is vaccination of up to 70% of the entire population, with internationally recognized vaccines. Not just the people of Bangkok or other areas they want to reopen for tourism.

They are keep on saying that "we must vaccinate over 70% of people in this area and that area" "and then it will be able to reopen for tourists".  But the truth is, foreign nations will look at vaccination rate of Thailand as a whole, not by region.  So they won't be taken off the red list or travel ban if they focus on regional efforts.

It doesn't matter what they think.  The world doesn't revolve around Thai standards.

In case of Phuket, it was possible to reopen because Phuket is an island.

I also read that they are aiming to vaccinate school faculties and students by mid November.  Something like this makes me wonder what makes them think that they could reopen the country for tourism in October.

What I think is that they already know that they won't be able to reopen before November, possibly before the end of the year.
