Thats a pity. The government has provided covid extensions and cancelled flight etc has not been a requirement.

It's the same out power trip that few folk tend to enjoy.

A last resort would be to obtain it in another province.

Especially given fact that almost certainly the covid extension will continue to be issued post Nov 27.

Another option is to resort to an agent.

It's rubbish, you are entitled to covid extension.

I was waiting for you and ubonjoe's thought on this. Thanks!

All credibility has been lost. Whatever good faith towards these creeps remained, is now gone. So, anything and everything they say is now suspect.

Believe the numbers at your own peril. I think 7000 per day seems grossly exaggerated.

Earlier I read that airlines have returned 80% of airport slots until the end of March 2022.

I'm taking that as an indication where this circus is heading to.

    I think that makes sense.

Here is para from Pattaya News.

Again just one person's take on it.

......."Apart from routine business such as 90 day reports, the last week of the month also sees the expiration of the special 60-days Covid visas for tourists unable or unwilling to return home.  These are currently available until late next month. It is not known if the discretionary permits might be renewable after that time. It could depend on whether the land borders reopen for tourist traffic".

Has the government mentioned anything about when they are planning on reopening the land borders?

I just looked up and couldn't find any information on it.

Pretty amazing how strong and efficient this virus is.

China for sure has improved their product quality control and you can no longer say things “Made in China” are bad quality.

Yeah for sure man.  I'm sure you'd choose Sinovac and Sinofarm over other western vaccines any day.

I think with this Delta+ those Chinese vaccines will more and more prove its uselessness day by day.

I hope you were being sarcastic.

Another AZ vaccine donation ceremony, thanks S. Korea, "70% of the Thai population vaccinated soon" a great ( no idea ) statement to leave ample room to continue flip flopping high level decisions. Bhutan's 250-300k AZ LOAN  to Thailand a few months back is due to be returned before year end 2021 as written months ago.......hmmmm

Why is Thailand relying on donations and loans?  I didn't know that they made loans.  So those donated vaccines will be forwarded to Bhutan? To pay back loans?  Why is this even a news then?

    1. As usual: a seemingly promising and positive announcement (albeit with insufficient detail) near the end of a month ... just to encourage destroyed businesses to pay another month's useless rent.

    2. They delight in minute details for airport arrivals - and good luck to them - but I suspect a greater danger to the Thai public lies in illegal, on-foot arrivals from adjacent countries, which I presume still takes place ... constantly adding new infections, if not new varients, to the only vaxed to 30-40% (?) local population.

I actually know of one kebab restaurant that just opened this year.

I personally haven't seen a single customer buying or dining in the shop.

Lately I see the restaurants' lights off in normal business hours.

Maybe they really thought they could make it.

Believing in all the promising forecast.
