I had 1 AZ at Medpark 7 weeks ago, my 2nd jab appointment is in 5 weeks. Some of my friends have asked for and received the 2nd jab earlier, after 6-8 weeks, but everything I've read indicates that waiting the full 12 weeks gives optimum protection with AZ. So I'll be fully vaxed with AZ late Oct. I guess about 5-6 months later, around March/April 2022, I'll be considering a Pfizer or Moderna booster.
I’ve never understood this idea about “considering a Pfizer or Moderna booster”
when did it become a vaccine supermarket?
”i night top myself up with a Yellow Fever booster in the fall”

I’ve had 4
2 x Sinovac, 2 x Pfizer. The guy giving my Pfizer said it was perfectly safe “it’s only a vaccine
I know someone who has had 2 x Sinopharm, then. 2 x AZ then had to have 2 x Pfizer when returning to UK

You will only get a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry.
At this time you would get a 45 day visa exempt entry but after the 30th of this month is unknown if the order for them will be extended. If not extended you would get a 30 day visa exempt entry.
You may not need a ticket out of the country to apply for the COE. Some embassies do not require it. But the airline may want to see a ticket out within 30 or 45 days.
If needed you could us a one one way ticket to anywhere to meet the 30 or 45 day requirement.
Thanks Joe. Really appreciate the reply

I am coming back to Thailand via Phuket sandbox for 70 day trip. I have never visited Thailand without a visa before (always had Non-B multi)
can I extend my 30 day visa exempt for a further 45 days at immigration?
if I book a 70 day trip on Visa exempt will the COE be accepted?
cheers

It’s approved but not available anywhere, the French embassy had some a few months ago, but nowhere else.

Well here’s what happened in the case of my friend
she was living in Dubai and got double dosed with Sinopharm early in the year, then her employers realized that Sinopharm wasn’t accepted in many countries for travel, so did a company wide AZ double dosed vaccination. She then went back to UK only to find out UK doesn’t recognize any vaccine administered outside UK and EU so had to get a vaccine in the UK so went for Pfizer
ridiculous vaccine politics will be with us for years
my experience was similar (with the exception of the AZ bit in the middle)

I said a reputable source....
Basically you are another person who can’t see further than his own nose
gotcha
I’ll let you into a little secret. There is no international database of vaccines administered. If you cross borders, nobody knows your vaccination status

You got a link from a reputable source for that? It should be almost impossible for anyone to get a fourth jab. Very few can now get the third.
I’ve had 3 and my 4th is due in 2 weeks
I know someone who has had 6Sinopharm x2, AZ x 2, Pfizer x 2

why do they keep buying that junk??
for second shot they want AZ.
what will they want for 3rd. booster????
they would be better buying Pfizer or Moderna.
Because it isn’t junk, it’s effective when mixed with other vaccines and unlike other brands, it’s available now

Any agent worth his salt will be able to sort this out. Or you can get a residence certificate and take it to a BBL. shop around tho

what happened to your Wumao activity thread? Why was that taken down?
you’ve previously accused me of being a paid agent for the Chinese government and now of not living in Thailand.what an embarrassment

If you actually lived in this country you would understand that Thai's aren't particularly happy with the thought of taking Sinovac.
Maybe you'll make it over someday.
Ive lived in Thailand since 2006 and came back to UK for a short break last month.
stop talking complete rubbish. -

Yup.
Besides the 10 million people in Thailand who have already received it.
pathetic response as per usual MrJ2U

excellent short term strategy for the next 2 months in the race to get the county open, while AZ supplies are still limited.

So what? Lots of people have contracted Covid after having had two shots, including my two eldest kids in the UK .
I think it’s a troll topic. Surely nobody can be surprised at double dosed people can get symptomless COVID

Because a lot of people, including me got innoculated with one dose of Sinovac and one dose of Astrazenaca. We probably will have to get additional vaccines in order to enter some countries or to be considered fully vaccinated?
Vaccines don’t exist to facilitate travel. They are to stop people getting ill and dying from Covid

I'm resigned to the fact that after my local hospital Sinovac jab last month and my AZ second jab on the 15th, I'll later have to have a second AZ jab later in order to travel to the UAE. I took the Sinovac as it was available and I had no choice without having to travel a long distance to get an alternative, but I consider it was actually largely a waste of time, except to travel domestically.

”waste of time” indeed

That's not true is it? I thought the Thai made AZ jab was not recognised by the UK vaccination programme?
Can anyone confirm / deny?
That’s true, at the moment the UK doesn’t recognize any vaccine administered outside UK, EU and US. Regardless of the brand
Great news: Less quarantine at entry but what about Covid Insurance?
