Just heard, don't try and do a visa run if you had a volunteer visa.

They are denying entry and deporting under grounds that you stayed here illegally during the pandemic when you fly back..

    Heard from where?

this false rumour keeps popping up and is always debunked

Is there any news yet if the covid extension would be extended again after Mar 25? Have't heard anything about it and it's just 5 days away. Anyway, if it's not extended I'm fine to travel out of TH in the end of May when my current CE stamp expires but if they do extend it again will gladly stay until end of June.

I’m in the same boat, I don’t mind having to leave at the end of April when my extension runs out as I could do with a trip home. But it’s more convenient for me to stay another couple of months.

Let’s see what happens. I reckon there will be another extension

Jealousy from expats on retirement visas who think they have more of a right to be here than others because they're 50+ it seems like. Some people are just bitter too and need something to complain about because they don't have much else going on. It's a waste of time and energy in my opinion to try and understand the motivations behind these types of people and you find them everywhere.

Talk to any business owner in a tourist city and they'll only have good things to say about the extensions as it has kept some of them afloat the past few years. I hope any person who wants to stay here and contribute to the economy gets to stay as long as they're legally allowed to if they are following all the laws and rules.

I did ask one guy in IRovers a while ago who was spitting mad about COVID extensions. He said it made it harder for people like him to get his extensions every year. Anyway it turns out he used an agent for his extensions anyway, so good knows what his problem was

Once you had pf you should not take az. All within such short 3 months.
Dont take anything until end of year.
there should be 2nd generation coming within the next few months. But you dont have to rush.
before jabbing do tell dr about all previous ones.

i got 2 pf in thailand. In january i had full moderna (they didnt habe half dose). Now my european vax application doesnt allow me any further jabs.
just recently they have integrated thai and EU vax systems, so now they know about my pf and wont allow anymore

Are you a doctor? Why are you giving medical advice??

Hmmm? Maybe I haven't been clear enough.

The covid infection has already been weeks ago. Quarantine is long finished.

    My questions are

    a) What is the name of the antibody test that can distinguish between past vaccination and past infection? (As a confirmation of the late infection)
    b) Where in Bangkok can you do that?

    do it for 1300

ignore Internationalism. He appears to be having a weird day

Only uneducated or biased people have said sinovac is bad.

Death rate around the world would of been much higher had it not been for the early release of sinovac .

Just looking at Thailand, Cambodia and Chile compared to UK.

yes there are issues with statistics and record keeping etc and the climate of Thailand and Cambodia must help with bronchial diseases, but it’s a huge difference with the UK using much more effective vaccines.

I doubt many parents will want their children vaccinated with Sinovac.

    Pfeizer is hard enough.

I Know my wife agreed to Pfeizer, but no way to Sinovac for our daughter who's 7.

I think that's the sentiment in most Thai households.

They better do it fast, the 1.5 million doses they have in storage is already 5 months old.  Shelf life is 6 months.

Storage in Thailand is questionable in Thailand at best.

You don’t speak for most Thai households and your long crusade against Sinovac is testament to that.

it’s been proven to be safe and effective and as kids really aren’t at risk from covid,’it makes sense to vaccinate them with a milder vaccine based on proven technology.
