As being a foreigner I need to ask you british guys what the law in England is about you VAT regulation for transport to foreign country of goods. In my case I am moving my personal belongings in a container via a british transport-company, I am moving it from a city mid England to Felixstowe, and the company says and want to debit 20% in VAT for these costs up to loaded on board.... As being a swede I have another scenario in Europe. If I make a transport from somewhere in Sweden to Thailand that transport is completely free from VAT, So do anybody knows about how it works in England. Thank you so much for your help by answering. Yes I know that. in my extended family there is a daughter who do just that i.e. loan money from "Thailand/university" for the fee about 21.700 baht per semester plus also 3.000 baht for food each months. Have to pay back later at employment.. But I was wondering if there is a scheme where they can have the education for free.....

My wifes sister have a daughter, but no money to support a higher education in Thailand. I am of course talking about thai people now, not falang.... I am asking for account this family. Do you guys know if there is any chances to go to university and by any chance get the fees for free, not have to pay them...???? If you guys know anything about this would really be great ... Let´s say; - I live in Thailand on full time basis, - I need syringes for my cancer - I want to have them sent/delivered to Thailand (from Sweden) via mail or friends.. I have heard that one need some kind of documents for allowing this specially needed import..... So if I need a doctor-certificate, that is no problem, but if the said medicin is brought via a friend living in Sweden to me in Thailand, do he need some kind of Proxy from me to act on my behalf.... Wifey here have bought 50 palm-trees and shall plant them and produce palm-oil in a couple of years, she says.... I have a friend (for real), that is coming here to Thailand in may-2024 now. In short... He have bought a Non Immigrant O retired single entry, and he asked me if he must have a return-ticket??? Reason for asking is that he do not intend to go back to Sweden again, he will stay, and apply for an 1 year extension of stay.... He must have a return ticket - Or not?? Thank you again, very valuable.. just to notice that in Chaiyaphum during all my years here they have never demanded, always followed the law thar the combo-money in the bank, just have to be in the bank on the day at application and can be dealt with in whatever way to owner prefer.... So maybe they have changed now. OK I shall go there to find out.....
