Not really the same..... If you are aware, the english language is considered to be a common language for most of the western world. So you english-speaking countries you mention, have a free pass I guess, and that is OK..... But there is no excuse for russian and french and other europeans..... My opinion...

I do not wish to "rain on your british parade". But if you like to know that we in Sweden and probably the rest of the scandinavian countries, have something we call a "Bank ID", which is downloaded into our computers or mobile phones. For me, I go directly to the Retirement-department online and identify myself with my Bank ID and directly within one second I have done my yearly Life-certificate.... Maybe you guys should try to influence your country to come into the modern world???? I know this do not help you, but at least show you that another world is existing out there..

I have had herniaoperation on BOTH sides. It is being said that if you goty it on one side sooner rather than later you will also have a hernia on the other side. So for me, I did my hernia-operation on Saint Mary Hospital in Khorat (privat hospital). I did also thr second one 2 years after on the very same hospital.... The cost of 200-300K is something that was VERY surpricing for me.... My operation did cost 80K in both cases and this was back in 2016 and 2018.... When it comes to a scar, then I can inform you that it is completely impossible to even see any scar or where they went in... I am not sure if I have misunderstood your post, you are talking about "mesh method"... For me they used a net that was placed on top of the intestines to keep them in place, is this the same as you are talking about????

Yes, I have noticed over the years here in Thailand (Chaiyaphum), that many of the parcels no matter who the senders are, the not trackable parcels is nye nye... while the trackable ones comes in good shape...

As said by Sheryl, they are sold EVERYWHERE in Thailand at ALL hospitals as well as ALL pharmacies.... I have bought it here for 15 years now. I always stay away from brandnames which makes the very same product so much cheaper. I pay for a "copy" of Metformin 1 baht per pill/tablett.....

Yes I know about Holland and Scandinavia, but fear that Belgium is way too close to France and their complete inability to speak, or even want to speak english...
