  1. Can´t answer for that, but according to the news, it must have been so.
  2. That´s 100% true, but they are almost always in a pack of scum.
  3. Probably drunk? Probably on drugs? Not on the road, but by the roadside. Learn to read man. Also, he would not be dead if 2 stupid underaged girls not been driving illegally at night with not enough experience. So, he is the victim.
  4. Might be so. However, we also all know, that it is very little that needs to be triggered to get these guys into action.
  5. Yeah, agree. What I was thinking about, was how it looking and what light it shines. 😉
  6. Great, you managed to get all idiotic things in one post! Congratulations. Law for the kind of motorbike they were driving: Min 18 year and a driver license. (They had none and did not fulfill the age requirement!) Insurance not valid, as no driver license and underaged. It´s not a push bike. They can reach speeds of 120-160 km/h The homeless guy, was sitting by the roadside, and the bike have lights, so NO, not anybody of us with the right age and a driver license could have hit him. You might be the exception, though! At first, you are also stating that the underaged girls without driver license, that hit and killed a man is the victims??? Are you serious. Please try and get that treated.
  7. Does that include the lese majeste case as well? Because I can not for my life understand how he can get a royal pardon, and after that be accused for lese majeste?
  8. Ok 2 people have asked what GO is? Now I am the 3rd. Can somebody please speak out!
  9. Additional measures? Doesn´t matter! They can put how many measures they want into the mix. This is a core attitude of people in positions.
  10. Sure, that is fully possible, and as Itsari post even possible at 15k baht per month. However, one does not have to be a drinkers to spend more. For myself, it goes a bit as I am found of beer. Not alcoholic in any way as I have a lot going on with work on a daily basis. Other things that can cost, are if you like a more exclusive lifestyle. As OneMoreFarang posted, it can be good coffee, variated international food. Maybe some have a desire to go out eat a lot, as they might be bad at cooking. Shopping can take a fair amount of 1000nds per month. After that, I work totally remotely, so we like to travel on weekends, which means hotel and other things. So, just because some of us here say that we spend 70-120k baht per month, does not mean we wish to boost as the posts almost always are posted in thread like this. In other words on-topic. We just have the means to live a little bit better, while some of us also save a lot on the side at the same time.
  11. Dis I post anything about that? Of course it´s not the end of the world. Where do you get that from. Still it´s a huge risk leaving your passport to another person for keep.
  12. Yeah, I have believed that for a long time now. Who have half million baht in their bag, when you just can transfer the amount with ant bank application?
  13. So, nothing dangerous about just being a member of that family?
  14. When are you arriving, Bob. I am already starting to go down the mountains
  15. When are you ariving?
  16. Ok, but then I go there. No problem. Already in the car.
  17. It´s no problem. No need for him in the picture. 🙂 Would just like to see how great time you have Bob. Wish you a great weekend. Will go there and see if I find you and your football team of friends.
  18. Yeah, some of us are lucky, to not live in the high rises city ghetto´s, where everything takes 10 times longer to get done. I can confirm that also my extension on retirement took about 15-20 min at Immigration.
  19. Hey! Easy to understand. It´s confirmed that they are waiting for cabinet approval.
  20. Crap and bull! It should be treated for what it is. It´s a theft and the man is a thief! You can´t be allowed to break the law, just because you and your family are hungry. The problem here, as I see it. He looks quite fit, and could do some work with low paid wage. Pretty sure there are more people in the family that are too lazy to work. Some will probably think it´s hard, but it´s a reality everyone knows.
  21. Oh yeah, I would to get my hands on that weed. What a buzz! On the side of that, it seems like this is far more important than fighting re-criminalization of cannabis looking at the crowd.
  22. Not tragic at all, that a criminal died as he was in a shootout with the police. What they are pointing on, is their own operation, the had a tragic element. It´s always a bigger success if their are no fatalities.
  23. Liars! The police are in their full right to arrest a person with mental conditions, and send him for mental evaluation. After that, the relevant authorities has the power and right to place him in right care for his own and others protection. There is nothing in the Thai law, that points out the police can not do such thing. As usual, they are only lazy and comes up with all the excuses in the world for not doing their job. Not same profitable like checking helmets.
  24. So, once again we have an answer that goes back to everything between the 16th to 17th century. I am explaining this in every post, that there is a big difference between then and today. At that time almost all countries were at war now and then to gain more land and power. Today, we have a more developed society with all from better understanding to international organizations to deal with this. We are also more educated. What you are doing is comparing something we call colonization and settlement with thug, mafia and insurgency, which is something that today fall under criminal activities.
  25. Yeah, we should all just stand around and look at violence and never do anything to help the victim, right? That´s the act of cowards, and as though as you always sound Bob, then I didn´t think you belonged to them.
