  1. Sure, That opens up for a lot of security issues. That is not yet the case regarding Win 10. probably will be in the future, and then I will have to upgrade, but I will wait as long as I can. 🙂 It´s also a hell of a work for me to change as I am running server editions from 2022 that are connected to my 3 Win 10 computers and my own web hotel that runs more than 400 sites I own.
  2. No they can not refuse to pay, exactly like every other employer. If your wife believe that, then I can only feel sorry for you.
  3. Ok, if you like it, that´s good. I don´t and prefer Win 10. There are many with me, and also many with you. Just leave it with that.
  4. That will not work anymore. It´s old information, from the time the law was not enforced.
  5. All to their own. I have no problem with it, and I actually will be pissing away around 2 million baht every year. But, that is if you want to live in Thailand? Complaining doesn´t work.
  6. Yeah, much of it is totally wrong of course. However, being fined for touching sea creatures, was probably in their own habitat which is a small difference than to save a stuck turtle. However, gently touching them wont hurt them so all is of course over the top as they want the money rolling in on easy targets. I just reacted on the quick post that just put a negative look on Thais again. Too many of us, seems to want to live in Thailand and at the same time have a negative stand against Thai people. That´s really a disgusting way of living in a foreign country.
  7. Ok, got it. However, it will be hard to go through the finger print login though. 🙂
  8. Not following here. Did you just repeat what I posted, or did you just agree?
  9. Nope, but I am sure they are all listed there, together with many more. But, as I say, just give it a rest. You have got your answers now. If you like and agree is totally up to you. As I see it you will continue to complain over not finding food to your likings or you just feeling lonely and want to chat forever. Have a nice day, and eat something good. If you can find it, that will say.
  10. No, I have it on another device with another sim. The OTP´s however, always comes to the registered number. That´s an extra safety for me, if I lose the phone with the application, as they will not receive the OTP.
  11. Sure, it can be real and true. However, it sound more like a daughters way to skim some of daddy´s money for a prolonged stay.
  12. Yes, the discussion is silly, as you go to Islands for much more. Just trying to guide a lost soul. Fried rice is great in most places. I get that for lunch many times, as well as many other cheap dishes.
  13. Koh Lanta: Laanta Seafood, The Sisters Phi Phi: Khun Va, Pha Noi
  14. No, I am using it on a phone with another sim, as I already pointed out in earlier post.
  15. But please, just leave it. First you post there are no good food and restaurants on the islands. As a reply I post that it´s about taste and wallet, which means money. Now we are in all about money again. Just give it a rest. I have already given you alternatives. You can afford, go try. And yes, mostly good and tasty dishes cost more than 200 baht. It´s possible to find good and decent food between 70-150 as well.
  16. I will just continue to live as normal. If have to pay tax, then just do that. Why so much hassle over this? Want to live tax free? Move to UAE 😉
  17. Not worth the hassle. As I said, we differ in taste. Some have a working pallet, and some don´t. Anyway, I will give you a few choices: Koh Chang: Babylon Koh Chang, Koh Chang Seafood, Sea Breeze, Siam Kitchen Koh Samui: Saffron Banyan Tree, Phensiri Thai, The Island View, Sala Thai Koh Tao: Bansong Kitchen, Simple Life Koh Samed: Summerday As I say, up to you.
  18. Right, I know what you mean. I live in that Nowhere place 😉 However, there are some fairly good choices even here. Mostly easy to solve my problem as I can order what I need online from Bangkok, Pattaya or Hua Hin. After that, I already told I am not a stranger to the kitchen 🙂
  19. I don´t know that as I have never used it on more. However, it must not be on the same device as the registered sim. The registered sim must only be connected to you bank account and both be in the same name. If not, they will refuse use of mobile banking and some other services.
  20. It all depends on taste and wallet I suppose. Here you are talking about bland Pad Thai, which is some kind of street food for backpackers. I am referring to restaurants or a nice evening on the beach seafood dinner/buffet. Anyway, never had any problems finding good food on islands, and I have experience as a chef for 5 years i fine dining.
  21. Nope, they sue for defamation when people are telling the truth.
  22. Why do you post something like that? The foreigners were already helping. I am pretty sure that there was both Thai and foreigners walking by without doing anything before that. I am also sure that it would have been Thai´s doing the helping if the good ones of them came before the foreigners.
  23. That´s actually really good. I take em regulary as well. 🙂 Good luck and all the best to Eddy.
  24. No, never had a problem with them. Do you have your mobile sim number in your name registered with the bank?
