  1. It pays tax, meaning it was referring to a company. Not a person.
  2. Depending on what you know or not, it will be options. You can measure yourself with a small tool called a multimeter. If no have the knowledge you will have to use a trustworthy electrician. You should also check if someone tapped in to your meter. Surely it can also be a faulty meter, which also must be checked.
  3. It´s something wrong here. We use aircon almost everyday in our living room at 24 degrees. Around 5-7 hours a day. Night time we use aircons in two bedrooms at 22 degree for all night every night. On at 21.00 and off at about 05.00 in the morning. Besides that we have always on (24/7/365) Water dispenser machine for both hot and cold water, freezebox, refrigerator with bif freezer section, 3 computers, printer, 3 routers. TV is on for about 6-10 hours a day as well as charging 6 mobile phones, running washing machine and so on. Never using more than 600-800 units and the bill is between 3200 - 4000 bath. In your case you probably have something that has gone bad or broke and running up the bill as it uses more electric than it should.
  4. You´re welcome
  5. Regents International School. Not far, not near, but the best
  6. How f-king silly you people are! What is wrong with dinner and cocktail parties? Probably just that it´s far too expensive life styles for most poor suckers on this forum. Not all, though. Last time I throw a cocktail party with good music and running lights (like the 70s) was 2 weeks ago. Dinner party was only 1 week ago with most of my neighbors i the block. I just wonder how hard it is to keep to topic and answer a question? Many guys here have major problems and difficulties!
  7. It pays tax in Thailand, then it´s Thai
  8. The simple fact is that it is a restaurant in Thailand, which makes it a Thai restaurant that serves American fast-food. Same like Mario in Bangkok who opens something you and many more would call an Italian restaurant. Why we call it that, is because we are focusing on the cuisine that it serves. In reality, that will also be a Thai restaurant serving Italian food. At least according to the letter of the law.
  9. We need more of those smart Brits here.
  10. Hell yeah! The guy should be sued.
  11. What? No money? Or are we talking a really offensive amount for the rug?
  12. Sorry, but you do not understand business laws. For KFC to operate in Thailand they must open a subdivision/subsidiary. Something that makes the part of the company incorporated in Thailand, standing under Thai law as well as registered in Thailand. All that will make KFC Thailand a Thai company.
  13. Yes, it´s a part of the new normal.
  14. Whatever! Some airports and checkpoints follow the rules and some not. Is it really worth testing once luck all the time. As I see it, Thailand does not offer that much attraction that people would fight and try and try like this over and over again. It´s just plain stupid. What the law and rules state is not relevant in Thailand, as you can just be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which means you will be denied entry. Pushing tourist visas is just 100 % silly.
  15. Excuse me. What do you mean with this post. I just posted my opinion. If you agree you can say that. No need to sound like I want everyone to listen and heed.
  16. Never said it matters. It was just my opinion.
  17. Why they play with people all the time. Just take her to jail and lock her up for a week or two. That will surely calm her down. Psycho bitch.
  18. These guys should not be fined. A proper punishment would be withdrawal of the taxi license and 3 month in jail.
  19. That´s a British saying, right? Because, I did not eat the kid.
  20. Exactly! As long as Thailand allows him. So, if not allow there is no problem then. Why so many oppose that thing then? You know, I prefer to know that I will be able to enter Thailand. However, if you guys like the gamble, and take a chance. Up to you. Must be fun to be rejected at the border or an airport. Even better, feel the need to ask for a friendly airport, because deep inside one knows the overuse of tourist visas.
  21. No, but there is generally one that says you should be on topic. So, if this thread discuss a 13 year old boys death, it´s just silly to post such comments.
