You are right in what you are saying, except that I have thought my children to be fearless. That´s not what a sensible parent do. Especially not one with fairly dangerous skills. I have thought my children to look, feel the environment around them, and make a judgement out of the possibilities they can see and own.

As I have two children in Thai school, you might just be slightly wrong. I teach my children different. Also, children tend to read a lot on social media, so let´s say, they are informed of what is right and wrong. And, there is no teacher that punish, hit or do anything out of line with my children.
