Whilst the press (and certain groups) are no doubt loving these riots......it sells papers and advertising.......it strikes me that they are quite small affairs, easily contained. We live in the sticks so a car is essential......if we lived in BKK I wouldn't even consider keeping it. Public transport is fine within and to and from the cities. If you need a car once in a while, hire one....cheap as chips.
