Agree,,,,the only rider I would add is that my wife is as far being hi-so as you can get. How she survived her childhood upbringing to become a 'normal' adult is beyond me.

The streets in BKK seem packed with tourists, but, and it might depend on the time of day, very few bars, shops, restaurants seem busy???

Thanks will give that a go. The cortisol effect is very strong though....waking up from a deep sleep or a light nap my nose goes crazy.....constantly runs and non-stop sneezing.....without my medication that is.

Has anyone nailed down the best way to provide some outdoor cool air? Some of the open air bars in BKK seem to be investing in lots of mobile, evaporative units....Hatari? We have a small patio and I was wondering if a wall mounted, internal units would be any good (when mounted outside)? Do people just go for these mist type cooling devices? Are they healthy?

Had the same thing.....started in 2001 whilst eating a chilli con carne after a Sting concert in Germany (totally irrelevant). It was hell for six months until I started taking loratadine tablets, one a day AND Beconaise spray, one puff in each nostril once a day. For me, I had to take both, miss one or the other and it all kicked off again. Turns out i am allergic to myself.....cortisol was the root cause.
