  1. Thanks.....but hotels are something we want avoid.....he could trash the place.....and if he thinks it is the vet's he could kill someone.
  2. Yes.....just searching now.....and came across one there.....'looks' good. Could try a couple of nights and see how it goes.....cheers.
  3. The family have looked after him previously.....that's why they won't anymore....555.....he is a bit of a handful. It would be irresponsible of us to palm him off onto strangers.....plus the wife won't consider that option anyway.
  4. He can in a fight......anything else and he struggles ......555
  5. What do people do for holidays if they have a dog? We can't get sitters and the wife won't put the little cherub in kennels. Looked at RVs, but the daily costs are astronomical. Not prepared to invest in a caravan.....been there, done that. Hotels are not a suitable environment for us....too stressful with the dog. So are there caravan sites with statics, what are they like? Is glamping feasible? What about Thai resorts with chalet type accommodation?.....do any or all of these places generally allow dogs? If you have stayed somewhere and been impressed with it I'd love to know the details. Thanks in advance for and suggestions.
  6. I find Bangkok much more tranquil than Isaan.........and would move back there tomorrow.
  7. How much did you shell out for your tank?
  8. The slum dwellers of Khlong Toei will be kicking off big time tonight at this news.....party on.
  9. Suffering from a good mix of stupidity, early onset dementia and laziness my friend asks......is anyone clever enough or even willing to interpret all of this tax malarkey purely from a UK expat perspective.......???
  10. Prices will remain the same....tax take will reduce and the likes of CP will make even more profit.....pure genius.
  11. What should you do if a bird craps on your windscreen? Never go out with her again.
  12. You've obviously never taken a stroll down Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.
  13. Oh now that looks better still.....the tiny bladder tank just ensures you have water as the tap opens, but with the integrated tank instead.......could be good. And this is an important selling point from the catalog! The pump head is made of grass and not meat................and that is obviously essential....555
  14. Mitsubishi defo'......and certainly worth considering a pressure tank.....I'm looking to buy one to prevent the pump having to continually stop/start for the small amounts of water we keep demanding.
  15. The way I see this going is via immigration......they will institute a check that you have filed a tax return, knowing you have to bring in funds for your extension of stay. Outside that everyone needs to find a cheap way of drawing money from their own country/non-Thai bank via ATMs. Just made that up.....haven't really got a clue on this matter.
  16. Life is cheap here....no one cares.....if you could level an accusation at the politicians here then they would be accused of seriously lacking in empathy.
  17. Unadulterated dross for the hard of thinking. The war on woke.......if wokeness ever existed....... is a rightwing construct to distract people from focussing on things that really matter in their lives.....healthcare, education, environment, cost of living.
  18. Damn.....few years yet.....will have to keep taking the wife with me for now.
  19. I used it to get into squash, badminton and social events.....worked well in BKK until covid hit.
