What would you expect? If we have a pandemic the medical stocks will obviously rise. Is there a conspiracy here somewhere to pump their stock price?

at least thailand isnt haveing a knee jerk reaction which is good.  i think all variants should have a chinese name to them..........calling one delta didnt help delta airlines stock price one bit

    Yes you can.

That is needed for the test and go entry. You must be in a listed country for 21 days unless you have been in Thailand before entering the listed country.

if fully vaccinated you can do the test and go that only requires only a one night stay in a AQ or SHA++ hotel while waiting for a negative covid 19 test.

The far right conspiracy sites get ecstatic because they make hay. Boring times kill extremist sites, their business model is anything which the MSM reject.

do you know of any websites or you tube vlogs that speak about whos making money on corona this is starting to get ridiculous.  i got triggered when a new variant popped up and the stock market dropped 1000 points in minutes. that tells you money is tobe made

The border crossings are closed at this time. It has been in the news that they are planning on opening the crossing at Nong Khai later this month. When they begin opening it will only be crossings near a city that has enough AQ or SHA++ hotels to handle the those needing to quarantine.

thanks ubonjoe your posts are usually right on the mark.  im just quite curious of another neigboring country can set up a system where one can go between countries .  its no secret that tourists that come for a monthor more.  in the past liked to go between countries for holiday. this cambodia thing seems like the first shot at this. i want to keep informed on this subject

I flew from PP to BKK a few weeks back (when no direct flights were available, there are now with Thai Smile I think). No issues, standard arrival with the PCR test and one night in SHA hotel. I will go back early January. There are no quarantine requirements at the moment for fully vaccinated travellers travelling from Thailand to Cambodia, just a PCR test 72 hours before arrival and then a rapid test on arrival. That may change in the coming days.

whats this about 21 day rule?

I've booked a flight on 16th to Phnom Penh from Suvarnabhumi, returning January 7th. It's exactly 21 days. Will I qualify for the 21 day rule? Any links to that? I'm keeping one eye on the situation of course.

21 day rule . what is that.  cambodia rule?  i guess that makes sense they want tourist money and not border runners.

Despite what this Mr Yong Poovypoo and all the other glory seekers say, this pandemic is making all the rich doctors, pharmacists, insurance companies etc, etc, etc, even more rich?

All the lockdowns, border closures, loss of livelihoods etc, will not affect them and all their money.

Politicians all over the world will be enjoying their powertrips.

its becoming clear that someone is making money on this pandemic.  the stock market is involved in this .  who pays?  the little guy

WHO advises vulnerable, over-60s against travel over Omicron

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that while blanket travel bans would not stop the spread of the Omicron variant, Covid-vulnerable people, including the over-60s, should postpone plans to travel abroad.

as i read it it said people over 60 should postpone travel.  does not mention vaccinated or not. those are pretty strong words................we are screwed,  unless the pharma companies have something up thier sleeve

are u an unvacced super spreader?  i got vacced twice.  im not a lemming . im looking at my options.  govts are not gonna allow unvacced to travel very easily . so i hope u like sitting at home

the worse the virus gets the worse its gonna get for the unvacced.  i still believe that govts will require vaccination for international travel and domestic travel.  im just waiting for the first govt to pull the trigger.

As far as I know there is no connecting flights to Chiang Mai from Bangkok that would allow you to get the test and go there.

At this time the only option is do the the test and go in Bangkok and then get a domestic flight to CM after you get the negative covid 19 RT-PCR test.

i havent googled it but i assume cambodia is on the green list.  beyond that.   cambodia can be used for a visa run at this point (via aiR)  but not by land??????

As I said many countries are doing the same including Australia. Do you think that people will stop coming to Australia? They won't stop going anywhere once it's safer. Japan just banned all foreign travellers. Will tourists stop going to Japan. Highly unlikely. You are just fear mongering.

my point is that thailand is staying the course which brings trust.   you are the one fear mongering close up the world is your motto.  i say stay the course.

That's the whole idea, lol. Suspending entry means nobody will come. That said, I know several people planning to go early next year when restrictions are lifted so, yes, they will come. Of course they will come. It's not just the Philippines tightening restrictions after recently relaxing them. Many countries are doing the same.

but if you see saw then when u open they still wont come cause they will be fearful of new rules happening when they enter that affect their stay.  at least thailand is staying the course.  hopefully ph wont keep see sawing.  u need a certain consistancy in action to be trusted.
