1000 for pcr test seems cheap to me

1000 baht is 35 bucks us . thats cheap for convenience. 35 bucks for an airport test i can take right before i fly seems like a good deal unless you are positive of course then it sucks

huh???? i thought u needed pcr not antigen test to fly to usa? pcr test costs more than antigen?

thanks i have to tell you this has been very stressfull for alot of people first just getting here. with the test and go or sandbox. i feel sorry for the people that coming now that have to pay for two pcr tests 2000 baht each??? and two nights in hotel. the second hotel night seems so redundant its silly alot of people will look a the secont hotel night and says its just not worth it to come. why the second night hotel? only explaination is if the second test comes back positive the authorities know where to chase u down..........

so under 3. im reading that even if here on a tourist visa and a previous covid extension they are still giving them one more up until march 25. but bring proof of an exit ticket this time.

confused...........what u mean is the end of this new approval. the permission to get a covid extension up until march 25.............so what u are saying is we have permisson to get the covid extension up until march 25 and after that approval period (may 25 ) we have to leave. that all make sense as tourists generally leave by end of april and the long haulers remain. but this time the thai govt. wants the long haulers out or on an appropriate visa.

even those that entered on a tourist visa and already got an extension? or only those who have not got a covid extension yet? from what the drift im getting says is that some of us who are here on tourist visas get one last shot for covid extension and that is until march 25,,,,,,,,,,even if we already are here on tourist visa with a covid extension as we speak now. ?

so u are confirming ,,,,,,,if im on a covid extension at this moment from the last round that ended jan 25. i get one last extension opportunity up until march 25 for one more 60 day extension we dont know for sure though until some bloke trys it,,,,,i suppose that will be fairly soon , as someone who is here currently on thier last extension will need to extend soon so i guess we gonna find out

the covid extensions must be happening as normal as we are not hearing of rejections. people who get it dont say a word but those that dont harp up real fast here

people that laugh at my comment look at the poll of expats in thailand right now. most all of them say its unsafe to travel around to different countries right now. so im not alonein my thinking

agreed with the new 2 pcr test and 2 night test and go i dont think alot of people gonna partake..............better to keep the bodies here that are here. bodies here dont bring covid in

cant he get the 30 days then go next day after that to upgrade to the 60 day

if i came in on tourist visa and extended it 30 days and now got one covid extension am i still on a tourist visa? i just got my covid extension , but would like 30 more days , so im hoping to go get another covid extension at some point,,,,,,,,,i think that point in time will be one month from now as every time i try to get covid extensions they are 60 days from the date i apply..........

i also think it should be up to discretion of each immigration office and if you dont like one answer road trip around thailand to get the answer u want from another immigration office.

rumour is that u only get one covid extension. but i humbly suggest two should be the maximum not one. i need another month and then im happy to go contract covid in my home country
