  1. looking for that link.. any further clues?
  2. seems a certain Cabinet minister is also obviously guilty of all 3 of those charges, caught and convicted smuggling huge amounts of Heroin into Australia?!
  3. Year 'round availability of the ultra healthy 'Tropical Berry', Passion Fruit!
  4. Admirable regimen! You must be in great shape, if you've been doing that for a long time? Of course one must adjust for individual energy levels, stamina and vitality, all of which we can enhance a bit. Since you asked, My geriatric workout is a couple of hours, every other day, including yoga, pushups, pullups, inversion table sit-ups and planking. Then an hour in the pool, doing gloved aqua aerobic isokinetic exercises, all to inspirational and motivating music.. I drink the amino acid cocktail with Kombucha, vit C and Creatine before and after workout, just in case anyone wants to experiment and try it? Accurate blood work, semi annually.. Quite concerned about and try to research and watch interactions of some of these, but admittedly, at this age, why not carefully and sensibly try? Wary of the so called guru's and try to see through and take what is useful from as many sources as possible. I admire those who can actually drink 5 liters of water and 2 hours every day of workout for a much older person is exhausting just to think about! I'm glad to get 2 liters.. One must just watch and play with the 'Edges' of our endurance, adjust and Fine Tune the recovery times, which will for sure change over time... My diet for over half a century has been devoid and absent of any living being with eyes and a mother (and no Oysters)... Yet Plant protein focused.. I make my own med 'shroom mix and take daily. Using local, so no Chaga.. a lot of dry and fresh Lions mane, getting popular, available online and in Tops, etc.. Wish more senior people and friends will be inspired to invest a bit of time and baht and look into, follow our advice, example and try at least some of our recommendations...
  5. and further more, yes these aminos are produced in and by the body, but less and less as we age, so waisted on the youngish.. Energy drinks have about 1gm of Taurine in them, not enough (unless you drink a couple a day?).
  6. Greetings.. As a 'Septuagenarian', enjoying life here to the fullest, as long as we can, with the possible (no reason why not) affordable enhancements (better living through Chemistry?) to 'slow it all down'.. After much research, for like mind and body, here's some recommendations from my daily regimen: After the most important, Exercise, Sleep, Sex, Stresslessness, Music and Gratitude! A Sensible Compassionate Sensitive balanced Diet, with a healthy dose of Moderation esp with substances that the body is more challenged to process, in our advanced years... Medicinal 'Shrooms powder- Cordyceps, Lions Mane, Reishi in Tea Occasional and frequent Herbal enhancements including: Ashwaganda, Maca Root, Curcumin (Turmeric), Finger Root, Centella Asiatica (Pennywort, Gotakola, (Thai: Bua Bok), Moringa Oleifera (leaves & Bean Pods), non essential Amino Acid powder cocktail (meaning not the 9 essentials needed to form protein), GlyNAC = Glycine + N-acetyl Cysteine, Taurine, L-Serine can buy all in bulk on Laz. Start with 500 mgs of each, blend and keep airtight... 2 tsp (1/2 tsp) is about 2 grams of each . optional: add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Ascorbic Acid powder with 1/8 to 1/4 Bicarb Soda.. wisk into water, juice, Kombucha or sprinkle on fruit and cereal. It has a nice tart taste! NMN 500mgs, NR 250 mgs, D3 5 -10k IU's (125 - 250mcgs) + K2, Sirolimus (Rapamycin) 2-5 mgs, B12 5000mcg, Magnesium Threonate 350mgs, time release Melatonin 5mgs, A strong Multi-vite, Quercetin, Berberine, Bi annual Epitalon (look it up). PM me for further details or sources..
  7. Be very wary and avoid this slickly advertised 'too good to be true' company! Am an Expat living a long time in Thailand, where there are not strict rules or oversite on company's like these. Obviously there are to a discerning eye and mind, mostly fake, empty illiterate 5 star ratings online, to boost their averages. Reading carefully, almost all of those so called positive reviews, have no details and only say they are so kind and do whatever they are supposed to. This is called 'Astroturfing'! Look it up. Means planting fake positive reviews online, on review websites! After a few years with them, I can attest to the fact that they denied claims that the other legit companies all do cover, in my final case with them, an inguinal hernia, with no history or record of 'pre-existing'. They also denied payment for a kidney stone, also a first time with no history or reason, besides saying some med I might have taken 15 years ago, might have caused it.. Again several hospital's insurance departments told me that other companies generally always pay for this procedure! To mention also, the 'small print' that they will not cover any hospital inpatient stay and will reduce the total of all surgical and medical expenses by 20% if staying in a Private room, which many hospitals here only offer! After consulting Insurance departments of several major hospitals here, was told by several of them, that these people have a history of not paying, which is why they do not get pre approved, as other reputable company's do. They do not get back to you, as they advertise, in a 'timely manor' as they claim, unless it is to get more money from you! Had to wait 3 days in expensive hospital waiting to hear back from their so called in house 'expert', for their refusal to pay for kidney stone treatment. Was told they have an office here, but false. Was told they are backed by a known Brit and Hong Kong Re-assurance company, but also false! As mentioned many times here, they are only registered on Nevis, a small tax haven Caribbean Island. Very suspicious obviously. So that is where one must go to or complain to (try and find that phone number!)!? I also was shunted off to the infamous "Maria" in HK, who was very good at delaying and giving false hope of resolution, but just great at putting us off.. The original price was suspiciously inexpensive, but the annual fees jumped surprisingly fast once signed up, once i passed the 70 year old barrier to get any other company to provide cover! Shopping around for a real reputable company, have spoken with several agents who have inevitably heard about them and it is becoming more known in that industry, at least here, that these guys are complete phoney rip offs! Hopefully a Class Action Suit, will happen! There will always be ignorant fools and suckers who will empty their pockets and fall for these guys, enough to keep them in business. Further more, there is no objective comparative website (that doesn't sell and get commissions for selling for them) that ranks or reviews insurance company's with this group included, favorably. Please do careful diligent research before committing money in a once in a lifetime decision!
  8. yes it is, 800 baht a box of 30 at the SE chemist, suk, near soi 15
  9. I've had and used this one for the past few years. Haven't yet replaced the filter, although i have a spare one and they are easy to find, because every few months I remove it, then using a strong vacuum cleaner hose only, carefully suck the dust back out of it, and clean the the interior parts. I use a small Mi handheld pollution meter to check the air coming out of it after, and it is good as new. Easy to move from living to bedroom. After a night of it running on 2 out of 4, and using the Plasma setting, the metter shows room has 003 from 045 when I turned it on..
  10. In local Chemists, I like and found Cellufresh MD, by Allergan, in the green plastic bottle, as good as or better then and cheaper than the others..
  11. Last october, saw this sign outside of a weed shop in Ashland oregon, for $49 ounces. That's 28 G. Which is about $1.75 or 59 baht a gram. Went inside and saw the ounces, perfect manicured fragrant, same as sold here.
  12. Once addicted to this rinse, challenging to travel, as the body gets used to completely emptying with water.. Then a few years ago, I discovered and highly recommend this portable Thai made and designed sprayer. Can take it apart and keep in handbag, great for airplanes which never have a spray, as well as most other bathrooms. Can call to order, they deliver for 250 baht. Can use most any plastic drink bottle. Just keep a cloth in the pocket to dry with as well...
  13. A vital and very critical reason not to ignore and to deal with this fast, as Dementia is clearly rising quickly, as a direct result of short of long exposure to poisonous air! https://scitechdaily.com/improving-air-quality-may-improve-cognitive-function-and-reduce-dementia-risk/
  14. I recommend and have bought for a couple of friends who don't need the best, a great compromise, the A33. The A53 only has slightly better camera, everything else the same. Has fast charging, good enough camera, stereo speakers, great screen and upgradable memory.. about 9k bhat at mbk or online..
  15. It's becoming more apparent, many classes of tourists are coming, especially with this factor, from the many countries that still repress it. Lots more money and jobs! At last count, 495 weed shops open in Bangkok, keeping a lot of people, farmers included, employed. Of course some big straight business don't like or want it, as sales of booze has dropped, sales of pharmaceuticals that attempt to treat the same symptoms, have dropped, violence attributed to drugs has dropped, arrests and use of ICE and Yabba has diminished, as well as the obvious loss to the street cops (supported by the Red 'you know whos') who can't find the easy bribes they had, the incarceration industry, including lawyers and it's other off shoots, having a down turn.. Thailand forward thinking gains additional respect from many first world countries, envy from some, albeit disgruntled despite from the primitive barbarek repressed lands, that see the inevitable future.. But on the other hand, after masked covid, this certainly does help to put the Smiles back on so many faces here and increases Random Acts of Kindness. Overall a Win-Win situation, after some time of 'growing pains and attitude adjustments' ...
