Ok, as what usually happens on here the topic drifts away from the original post and becomes pointless banter. So to bring it back on topic let me clarify;
I am looking for recommendations for a modern sub 10,000 Baht 3 in 1 wireless colour printer, windows 10 compatible, preferably ink cartridge (not ink tank or laser).
The brands that I am considering are; Epson, Cannon and Brother.

Brother DCP-T420W works good for me. From invade IT. Less than 5k
It's an ink tank, which is what I don't want.

Canon Ip 2700, more than 10 years and no problem.
Doubt if a 10 year old printer is still available or that I'd even want one

5 baht a page (color is more) at the local Kodak shop. And when you get to know the owner you can email him the docs to print. So your 200 pages per year costs 1000 baht. No cartridge issues, no paper issues, no space issues on your desk.
I surely don't understand why anyone needs a printer at their house.
Convenience, you still need to go to the shop to pick up your prints!

Do you need to print in colour?
If not, given the low number of pages per year that you print, I would suggest a monochrome laser printer as there are no fluids/nozzles to get blocked due to lack of use as there are with inkjets.
Yes need colour, also scan and copy

Currently have HP Inktank wireless 410 but have had nothing but problems with it. So now looking for new printer and thinking as I only print about 200 pages per year that maybe cartridge printer is the way to go.
My budget is a max of 10,000 Baht, any recommendations?

Right, it’s peculiar that many here come to the defense of the perps, makes one wonder…
Yea and it's also peculiar that some on here also shout guilty based on hearsay.

Just thinking about my 2 x 1cm x A4 paper sheets I submitted at Immigration for the past 20 years.
Where does it all go? Surely they cant store it for more than 1 year, or what is the Thai law for Thai storing documents, 7 years in UK I believe.
IF there's approx. 1 million expats (just a stab in the dark), 50 sheets of A4 per Extension, double it for some Visas that need BKK checking...
I've asked ChatGPT but even he/she is confused re the volume in Square Meters...
(PS I'm assuming 1,000,000 Expats living here in LOS)
Do they Scan the docs nowadays, or store in a warehouse the size of ChangWattana ?
Google's Bard was better at it :
Let's compare the volume of 50,000,000 A4 papers to the Empire State Building:
50,000,000 A4 papers:
- A single A4 paper is 0.0193 cubic meters (0.02 m x 0.297 m x 0.0007 m).
- Therefore, 50,000,000 A4 papers would have a volume of 965,000 cubic meters (50,000,000 x 0.0193).
Empire State Building:
- The Empire State Building has a total volume of approximately 386,100 cubic meters.
Comparison:
- 50,000,000 A4 papers would have a volume more than 2.5 times that of the Empire State Building!
Empire State BuildingHere's a visualization to help you imagine the scale:
- Stack 50,000,000 A4 papers on top of each other, and you'd create a pile nearly 61,000 kilometers high, reaching beyond the orbit of the International Space Station (which is about 400 kilometers above Earth).
- If you spread these papers out evenly across the entire surface of the Earth (510.1 million square kilometers), you'd cover it with a layer of paper about 0.1 meter thick.
So, to answer your question, 50,000,000 A4 papers would be a truly immense amount of paper, dwarfing the size of the Empire State Building in terms of volume.
I hope this helps!
Please use some logic and check your figures before posting or you will just make yourself look stupid;
70 GSM A4 sheet measures 210mm x 297mm x 0.08mm = 4,990mm3
1 cubic meter measures 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm = 1000,000,000mm3
Therefore 200,401 sheets of A4 make 1 cubic meter
Therefore 50,000,000 A4 sheets approx' 250 cubic meters, in other words 10m x 10m x 2.5m, roughly the size of an average condo.
Empire State building has a volume of 37 billion cubic feet, approx' 1 million cubic meters, or 200 trillion sheets of A4

I’ve heard to avoid Pattaya for finding long term relationships because of the bar girls and general sexpat culture of the city. I have zero interest in anything related to this. Is Jomtien going to also be a bad choice for finding a potential long term relationship/wife as well due to its proximity to Pattaya? Would I be better off going to somewhere like Phuket or Hua Hin? I don’t drink so bars in general aren’t going to be of any appeal. My main interest in the general Pattaya area is the number of restaurants, quality hospitals, cost of living, and not getting obliterated by smoke season.
Nowhere is any different to any other place. only you can be the judge of any relationship you get in to, and only you can take the resposibility for the outcome.

When people mention the CRS, most responses are that its not important and does not matter here in Thailand.
However, I understand from financial advisers that Thailand may implement the requirements very soon.
So they say, get ready.
When the banks here ask for your details for CRS, with Tax ID then you will know when it happens,
just like it happened in many countries years ago.
From then if you are tax resident (over 180 days) you probably have a year to do something.
In the west they gave a few reminders before telling us they would have to freeze / close the account if the details were not given. If you do not have a Thai bank account or financial account here then you do not need to worry.
However, for the UK expats getting paid their pension here into a Thai bank and declaring it for visa, then you need to start considering the tax situation because there is no double tax treaty unless you are on civil service pension. However, for those on small pensions such as the state pension over 65 should not worry.
The tax allowances 2023 were allowed expenses 100k, personal allowance 60k, over 65 190K.
total 350K, which is not far off the state pension amount
Then the assessable income up to 150 K has zero tax. So you can be bringing in 500 K without having any tax.
So If we look at the visa situation with requirement for 800K per annum then the thai tax will be approx
Assessable income 800k - 350k allowances = 450K150k at 5% = 7500
150k at 10% = 15,000
Total 22, 500 baht on the 800 k = 0.028 %.
I know its extra money to pay, but this information should give retired pension people over 65 retired here some better understanding of what may happen when they have to get the thai tax ID.

I did use VPN and EU country to register. That should eliminate spam. EU laws are very tough.
Not sure how signing up from EU using VPN can eliminate spam. Spam comes from sources who have somehow illegitimately obtained your email address.

I changed to Swiss Proton Email. So far very light, fast and simple. Easy switch of google anything. I like EU privacy protection too.
Any experience of Proton?
Yep, been using it for a couple of years now and only for financial stuff, it worked fine for first 6 months then started getting monthly requests from them to sign up for their paid service. After 3 months of ignoring these requests the spam emails started piling in, go figure!

You can buy a condo with money from Thailand, don't understand your story.
You need a license to be a money exchanger.
Think you will find proof of funds from abroad is require even if you are legally working in Thailand. Friend of mine has just gone through the same palaver, he's been working for 30 years in Thailand yet to buy his house (this year) land office told him funds must come from overseas within last tax year so he had to send 10mil Thai Baht to his bank in France convert to Euro then send back to Thailand. Problem was though it took him 25 days to send the money back as his French bank limited transfers to 10k Euro per day.

Britannica's definition of 'Cuisine' which is in the title of this topic is:
'Cuisine, the foods and methods of preparation traditional to a region or population'.
I would suggest Indian food is not traditional to Britain.
Cuisine | Definition, Types, & Facts | Britannica
The Indian food served in the UK is traditional to the UK, you'll not find the same in India.

That's not British food. It's Indian. Just because it's now very popular in Britain doesn't mean it's now British. The popularity of Indian food there is due to the low quality local cuisine offered. I postulate that if the Thais had been in Britain before the Indians, Thai food would be the #1 food there.
Think you'll find that food served in India is not the same as Indian food served in the UK. Therefore UK Indian food is traditional to the UK.

Ok, you obviously don't want to get it! That's fine. No skin off my nose, but I'd rather not live or work in Israel or the Gaza Strip and stay alive because now none of the ones who died will be making any money for their families. Like that's better than making less money in Thailand and staying alive!
Oh I get it alright, "no skin off my nose, I'm all right Jack" attitude, you're self opinionated train of thought is that if it's not good enough for you then nobody else should do it. If we all thought the same as you then we'd all be living and working in our cosy safe home countries. What gives you the right to criticise Thais who went to work oversees to try and better their lives, they didn't go expecting anything like this uprising was going to happen.

What a ridiculous comment to make to a westerner.
Of course many Thais can live on 300 Baht a day - and less.
Equally, there are many Thais who earn a lot more than that.
No they don't! They survive on B300 per day because most don't have any other option.

It's perfectly possible to survive in Thailand while being born into poverty as evidenced by literally tens of millions of people.
There's a difference between surviving and living a life without money worries. But as you seem to think that Thais should just accept their lot and not try and better themselves and their families you should try living on B300 per day.

Best Printer under 10,000 Baht

Yeah point taken but I'm sure there must be some members who have bought printers in the last couple of years and can share their opinions.
