  1. There are no VPN providers specific to Hua Hin, it is a web based service. Sign up and pay a monthly subscription to ExpressVPN, NordVPN, SurfShark etc., and you'll be fine.

While illegal in Thailand, but legal in most other countries, many people have turned to vaping as a way to stop smoking cigarettes.

Vaping IS safer than smoking cigarettes. But only if used short-term to help stop smoking.

This does NOT mean vaping is safe.

Medical science has proved this with repeated peer-reviewed scientific testing. Vaping can lead to a condition called 'Popcorn Lung,' and only takes a few years of vaping to create the problem.
Use the vape to break cigarette addiction, but then wean yourself off the vape.

and another fake news poster......the popcorn lung myth was debunked years ago. Do some actual research before posting drivel.

Facebook marketplace is a great place to sell, sold golf clubs and a motorbike, of course some tyre kickers but not a big deal

FBMP is a total sham it is completely unregulated and full of scammers, resellers and time wasters. Yes you may get lucky and sell your goods but for every genuine interested enquiry you'll get 20 idiots wasting your time or even some Thai No Mark copying your Ad and photo's and reposting with a 10% mark-up.

There is a cute little gecko that must have been in my apartment now for at least a few weeks.

Ocasionally I see it on the kitchen counter, but then it scurries into corners .... out of sight.

They are fast. So how to catch it without harming it?

I just want to let it loose outside.

They are harmless, right? It won't crawl into my ear at night and eat my brains?

Yeh, they're harmless they just breed like rabbits and sh*t everywhere

And this just shows the pathectic mentality level of the average Thai! arguing that B2000 is too high a price to pay for breaking the law but B400 to B500 is okay. God help this country because Buddha's thrown the towel in.

To the average Thai person who gave a thumbs down, thank you for proving my point regarding your mentality!!

I don't believe that is the only viable option, there seems to be plenty of other options, for example, using a financial advisor will limiting the tax payable, as mentioned above, opening offshore accounts may help with dealing with TRD and HMRC, along with international SIPPS may suit my purpose.

Ok believe what you want, if you think you can sort it out from Thailand good luck.

If you have a way to see your itemized charges it would be interesting to know what happened. After I make an int'l call I always look at my itemized charges and so far I haven't had any issues. I Actually Went to the AIS Shop & Got them to Check,The Guy TOLD Me I Hadn't put the 003 in before I Dialled....What a Load of Rubbish,I'm NOT That Stupid.....Also NOTE That with the 003 Code You CANNOT Make 0800 Numbers to The U.K. Just comes up as " EMPTY Number when dialling ....003800 Then the Number !!

probably because you need to put 44 (country code) before the 800

Who cares?  When you self insure, you don't buy insurance, but instead set aside cash of at least the same amount of the insurance policy maximum coverage.

Certainly a winning strategy if you can comfortably afford to set aside that much cash.

Even better if you stick that cash in to investments, which is exactly what the health insurance companies do with your premiums.
