I am still waiting for my Visa to be processed. I sent them a general outline of my travel plans. Impossible to give exact dates and flights. If I don't hear anything in a couple of days I'll resend the travel info. I had a flight booked out of Vancouver so I am now in Thailand on a 45 day visa-expempt. Last time I did the METV online it took a week. Times have changed.

I need some assistance. I am in Canada and applying online for a METV (multi-entry). I just received this email from the Thai embassy in Canada: Dear Applicant, To complete your visa application, please send the following documents in pdf format to email : [email protected]. 1. A Travel plan/itinerary stated clearly the purpose and schedule of the multiple entries during a validity of the visa (6 months) Thank you I'm not sure what I need to send them? Can I just say I'm visiting friends in Thailand and also plan trips out of the country? Do I need to give dates and destinations? I really just plan to spend the winter in Thailand and do visa runs every two months. If anyone has delt with this before your comments or advice are welcome. Thank you!

I’m from Canada and before covid I always came to Thailand for six months using a METV. I had a return ticket for the end of my six month stay. Every two months (60 days) I took a short trip out of the country. I think I got an extension maybe once. I never had any of the problems being written about here. I plan to return again mid Oct. I’ve started the online application process (not completed yet) and I do see they ask for more information - bank statement, copy of passport pages for one year, photo of me holding passport. It will only have been 3 months since I left Thailand on my previous trip. I’m trying to calculate how to stretch it to 9 months. My previous METV was good for a period of 6 months (enter Thailand within that time frame) so … 60 days+30 day, 60 days+exit and return, 60 days+30 day. That leaves me a month short so exit and return visa exempt. Does this sound possible? Thanks!

I hope this is the correct thread for this question... I was in Thailand for 8 months. I am back in Canada now and hope to return to Thailand in Oct or Nov. That would mean I will only be away from Thailand for 3 or 4 months. Is it possible they will deny my visa application because of this? Has anyone here done this before? Thanks!

I started the online visa application from Canada just to see the options and yes METV is listed. I am curious to see if they extend the STV. Any thoughts on that?

For that phone number question I put the name of the owner (from my lease agreement) and the phone number for S-Plus, the management company at my building and had not problem.
