Just returned from CW after getting my one year retirement extension Plus doing a 90 day notification (had to go in person because I was out of the country when it came due last time). TM30 was never asked for. My extension went fast. The IO was very nice and friendly. I was out of there in 45 minutes.I made the appointment online for 9 a.m. and didn't need to stand in the long line when the office opened. gotta love that!
Ok, I'll say it. Trump is a
sorry...cut off my post.. yes Trump is a fascist. The important thing to remember when comparing him to Hitler, is the german people were complicit with Hitler's agenda. They were not fooled by him. This election shows the american people are joining the fascist movement. God help us all.
Quick question for you Dr Jack .. when you did your latest 12 month extension were you required to show the house registration and land title deed of the property owner (if you are a tenant)? When I did my first 12 month extension they asked for these things ( at CW ) and would not just accept a TM30. I will now be doing my second 12 month and I have changed address, so I assume they will want these documents again. Were there any surprises for you regarding documents this time around? Thanks!
Ok, thanks. I'll be going to CW. I believe the BBL branch at CW has a ATM machine and a passbook update in the public area outside the office. Not 100% sure about that, though.
So is it possible to get the 12 month bank statement from BBL dated a week (or less) before visiting immigration then also show the passbook indicating funds have been in the account? I go for my 12 month extension in Jan and would really like to get this sorted out.
Agreed.
Happy to stay off the roads! We took the train from Bangkok to Hua Hin. 7:30 a.m. Express train #43 from Krung Thep Aphiwat. 330bt/each one way. It left on time because it was the first run of the day. It took three hous and was comfortable enough. We were not as lucky on our return trip back to BKK. Set to depart at 2:30 it was two hours late.
I don’t take life seriously and I don’t take you seriously. Who are you to tell me how to be a loving person? Maybe stop your self indulgent naval gazing and get on with life. If you preach on this forum you will find people who dislike preachers.
It's over. The old guard is doing their best to stem the tide of change. Not allowing "you know who" to leave the country sends another message. However, the people of Thailand will, hopefully, get to decide in the next election.
The last time I went to immigration for my 90 day report I asked them if I needed to report to them in person (not using the online method) when returning from overseas. They said yes. I am still unsure about the TM30, is it required when entering with a re-entry permit?
I asked this question awhile back and I think it was Dr Jack (sorry if mistaken) who said there is no need for a new TM30 if arriving with a re-entry permit. I hope that is still correct?
