I left Krabi at 5am this morning & headed to Wang Prachan - The IO insisted that i stay 1 night in Malaysia - I told him that i would prefer to exit Thailand & come straight back in - I paid 2000 baht & he stamped me out - I walked to the Malaysian border, stamped in for 90 days & stamped straight back out again at the next window - Walked back to the Thai border & stamped back in again on a 45 days Visa Exemption - No covid tests or anything else asked for - Now I've just arrived back in Krabi - Pleasant experience & would recommend this particular crossing for a simple same day border bounce.

Feel free to give me a shout if you are in Krabi - I'm driving down to the Malaysian border in about 5 hours time - Hopefully get straight back in again - If so, I'll be back in Krabi again late tomorrow night ????

A bank account for starters - In your own name - You need to have 800,000 baht in there on the day you apply for your Non O. Visa Exempt - Fill in a TM87, along with all the usual copies of passport & stamps ect ect. Tourist Visa - Everytung is the same but you need to fill in a TM86 instead.

Just in case, we'll have a whip round for you mate - I'm sure we could muster up 500 baht for you between us.

No need for onward flight with a 60 day tourist Visa - Chill brother.

Obviously this is a very risky option but if someone did a border bounce via air to Kuala Lumpur for example, stayed 1 night, then flew back into Thailand the next day, trying to enter visa exempt, what would the process be if denied entry ??? Would they just insist that you buy another ticket straight back to KL, or would there be more serious consequences ?

If he gets asked at check in, It has to be an onward flight anywhere within the 60 days - Just google onward flights for a cheap throw away ticket.

I have never done this route before - Why do i have to travel to Vientiane ??? I thought i could get stamped in again at Nong Khai ???

Can one walk across the bridge, turn around & come straight back in same day ??

Anyone have any recent experience with this particular crossing ???
