Thanks tonray and blackcab It is an old piano, and it is not in anyway going to be used as a piano, to play it is purely for visual, it will have a large rockpool at the front with a pump constantly recycling the water over the keyboard i do realise "the elements are going to play havoc with it and a little more hunting down today got me thinking to possibly apply a waterproof sealer all over the piano. and ha

I have arriving soon an upright piano which will become part pf an outdoor water feature i intend to "coat" the entire piano, inside and out with the most effective water repellent product i can get any suggestions please as to what product would be good also what else would you good folk who have experienced what weather can do to outdoor timber etc, suggest may help prolong the life of the piano. im thinking some sort of material cover, for during the day, maybe a Canvacon, or PVC material, as the water feature will only be used / on at night. Thank You. .

  4. Im building a new 2 room guesthouse and want 2 porthole windows in funnily enough, 2 walls. does anyone have knowledge of a specialist window company who can either supply, of make to order porthole windows. Thanks.

  7. Does not have to be in brilliant condition of even tuned just be solid. Happy to pay transport cost to Hua Hin Area does anyone know of someone who might have an old piano they do not need, or have room for anymore will pay fair price. Or any shops that deal with second hand pianos , not necessarily in working condition Thanks.

Back home i had track lights with dimmable globes with a nice narrow beam, and a adjustable wall switch that allowed me to back of the light to almost Zero here { Hua Hin area } the only thing ive been able to source are broad beam lights and switches that only reduce the light intensity to about 30 %,,, nothing lower Are there narrow beam globes, and Switches that adjust light intensity to near zero available in Thailand.. Thank You.

Thanks all, at the moment the Noi Noi Grass most likely spelt incorrectly, is the winner, unless i can be re persuaded.. just reading so much does your head in a bit, like the grass they use on fairways at golf courses around here, surely that must be ok ??? and yes LA, a lawn mover is the ONLY way it will be cut been in the landscaping business for 30 years so hopefully have retained a thing or two

  12. Thanks, ive got something similar for cuttings etc this product is mixed, "diluted " in water and applied when watering in the new plants.

Back in Australia we have a product called Seasol i have used it for 30 years as a "help" when installing new plants of any size or species It is a root stimulant and helps the plant settle in to its new environment Is there a similar product available in Thailand Thank You seasol 2.webp seasol 2.webp

  15. i will be grassing a few fairly large areas, at a new house in the Hua Hin area. from your experiences, please, which grass will perform best in a full sun situation there is minimal if any shade im not after a picture perfect lawn, to sit on just one that hopefully stays green, and looks fairly smart i do prefer the wider blade look, if thats possible again from experience , which grass tends to use less water. Thanks..

    I have a lot of Large Garden beds that require mulching the only thing i have been able to find that resembles mulch in anyway is the coconut chips, in bags. i doubt it would be ok, as im in a very windy and exposed area so it would not remain in place for long back home we had numerous types of suitable mulch that tended to "knit " together and wind was not a real problem Does anyone know of a Garden Mulch type product for use on garden beds, or a source of it. Something vaguely similar to pics below. i require a big quantity, 30 - 40 cubic metres, so transport from anywhere is not an issue Thank You

  22. Wanting to purchase a "large " quantity , a BIG truck full... of white gravel or pea gravel or Similar. i realise there is a significant transport cost involved any suggestions as to who stocks these products in bulk appreciated.

  24. thanks farmerjo, as a landscaper back in Aust, i used " fines " quite often as a subsurface for synthetic grass, it does not have the binding power of something like granitic sand. the local building supplies has a version of fines and it wont work
