I just say, that you should not be so scared of Internet. Not everything is full of trojans, keyloggers, rootkits, ransomware, worms, spyware and other malware.

I am not scared of the Internet. But I don’t trust some random website offering freebies, cuz freebie always come with a hidden cost….

Put yourself in a hackers shoes, if you wanted to spread your malware, how’d you do it? Probably offering freebies with many different names and domains…

    Dont be naive.

I think a good look around and a few test drives garner a better idea of value than 'history' my wife is top of the range and running well, me perhaps showing a little wear but mechanically sound ????

You see I struggle to understand where history with a previous owner has any bearing on a current relationship, especially if one is confident of knowing how to service well and regularly#

Haha, your post made my day.

    cheers, mate

One of the attractions to Thailand was always the live for today mentality, yesterday is gone no influence on today unless you drag it in, today we can influence, tomorrow is unknown.

I don't need to know about the life of my wife before me, its not the Thai way, and I don't expect or demand some 'full disclosure' and guess what my wife appears to be of the same opinion regarding my pedigree.

Sure inconsequential snippets about family history surface now and again but in general our life together started when we met ????

To each their own, so long as you both agree with it and are happy about everything, well, I can only say well done.

In my case, though, the same way as I would only buy a second hand car if I know and understand for certain its history, with women it’s the same. And my wife thinks this way as well from the opposite side…

  4. Someone who needs CPR done to him is essentially dead. It’s just that you have a little bit of time where the brain is still viable, so if you get that heart beating again, the person may regain consciousness.

But it’s not just being unconscious, because your heart doesn’t beat and you don’t breath. For all purposes you are dead. With around 1 in 4 chance of being brought back to life if CPR is done rather quickly after losing your heart beat. If you wait for too long chances go to 0.

If you present at a hospital with COVID symptoms, as a foreigner it is highly likely you will be placed in 14 days quarantine. Don't go, and there is no record of having had COVID, in which case you will need to follow the full vaccination protocol. Your choice.

This is very bad advice, foreigners are being allowed to quarantine at home. and it’s only 10 days I believe (or maybe even 7).

Also not seeking medical help out of fear of being quarantined if you have symptoms could be a bad idea… specially when you are allowed to home isolate.

A lot of "strange birds" hit the shores of Thailand.

Now, a strict "moralist" has joined the forum. His above comment indicates that he has absolutely no tolerance concerning other peoples livestyle.

Him writing stuff like this, while living in the probably most tolerant country on the globe! Amazing!

Some people should not be residing in Thailand. To such folks, I strongly recommend relocating to "zero tolerance" countries like China.

Yes, China is where I was pre-COVID and where I will be after they lift COVID restrictions.

And FYI China is also full of western sexpats desperate to sleep with Asian girls.

No, I am saying if you believe what women tell you about their pasts, it's delusional.

If a woman can't be honest about her past, then chances are it's not love, and she's just interested in your money, hence why she tells you what you want to hear (even if it's a lie).

A smart enough man, should know whether he can trust that girl or not, and in case of doubt, verify it himself. Easy peasy.

Very seldom you will find a normal girl (not prostitute or gold digger) who actually loves you lying about her past, if that's the case it's because she's extremely embarrassed.... But chances are that if they lie they're just after money/something not serious/etc...

I've always felt a bit sorry for blokes stuck with their wife/GF from back home while being surrounded by all this temptation.

I get the impression that seeing all the other men enjoying themselves p's you off.

Maybe you should go for a 'special' massage - relieve some of that tension ????

My wife isn't from back home - I left the West and their people for good long back ago...

My wife is Asian, just not Thai. But every Thai waiter/waitress/clerk thinks she's Thai.... So I guess no difference

Thanks!  Those methods all seem legit (albeit a bit complicated). And Tom's Hardware is a good source of info for such things.

Though, if you do the first method involving Rufus which allows a fresh Win 11 install or an in place upgrade from Win 10, I'm not clear on whether that initial modified setup is also going to solve the future issue of subsequent Windows Update checks every time MS does their future half yearly OS updates?

Yes, the Rufus way as well fixes the issue with the half year updates.

My Brit daughter is a really nasty man hating lesbian feminazi.

I feel that the world would be a better place if she had never been born.

I cut all contact with her 10 years back when she came to Thailand to allegedly visit me, but I wouldn't meet her.

Can’t really blame her. Having such a dad I would hate men to. And this coming from a man ????

And there is the gist.  You are not in the West and are not adjusting to your environment.

Yes, so you are a doing something you wouldn’t dare do back home! Real man!

What’d you say if one of those girls was your own daughter?

Ha Ha, talking about my de,de,degeneration .   Maybe you should relocate to a country that is more to your specs, maybe the USA what with the direction it is headed.

The USA, god forbid, I’m an European, why would I relocate to one of the countries I hate the most?

Is it so that someday I get shot by some random 400kg freedom gun loving yank? You hate me this bad? Lol
