  1. In the last few days I have cancelled a Sinovac jab with the local area health team. Cancelled an AstraZenica jab arranged by the BCCT in Bangkok because of the 600 km round trip into the 'Infected Zones'. Then finally, on Friday a post prompted me to check my spam mail and I found an appointment email from the main provincial hospital through Expatvac. This is for Pfizer at Big C next week. I am looking forward to seeing how many expats in Nakhon Sawan! ???? PS. The downside of having the jab in Big C is the wife will, no doubt, take full opportunity for a shopping trip! So, all though the jab is no charge, I doubt if my final bill will be under 5,000 baht! ☹️
  2. My Expatvac appointment went into my spam folder as well. I didn't see it for 10 hours until I checked it!
  3. Have you checked your spam mail folder?
  4. The cost of quarantine in the UK at £228 per day is extortionate but typical of how the UK treats its citizens. ☹️
  5. I am 60+ and I have an appointment next week for a Pfizer jab in Nakhon Sawan. This came through Expatvac.
  6. Yes, I also asked and have now received a email back confirming Pfizer.
  7. When I read your first email, it prompted me to check my Span Mail folder. Lo and behold, there was an appointment mail in there sent about 10 hours previous! The mail was from Sawanpracharak Hospital, Nakhon Sawan and the venue is Big C 2. Date of 1st jab is 2nd September.
  8. I have an email for Nakhon Sawan on 2nd September but it doesn't mention Pfizer?
  9. "Now that I am almost too old to continue living, no one can blame me for recalling the good old days of Asia. Also, I am learning the language." Left it a little late then? ????
  10. Yes, and maybe get ripped off by rogue tenants, pay management fees and maintenance bills. ☹️

  12. "They can't if your homes rented." A sad life living in rented accomodation with 12 month leases where you can be thrown out of at any time. Or you think you will get Council/Housing Association property? Think again on that! Then how about your Thai wife? Are you going to leave her in rented accomodation when you die?
  13. You are lucky, we have no one like that batting for us in the central provinces. ☹️
  14. Tremendous, they will even sell your home to pay for the care home costs.

  17. That leads to a secondary question.... 'do you consider the country you were born in as your home?'
  18. She can do your extensions if you are incapacitated or in Thai words "handicapped" ???? Anyone can take your TM47 to immigration with your passport. I don't think you have to be incapacitated for that.
  19. Your wife doesn't have a say in this? You going to leave her alone in the UK?
