    I have all the requirements for the ME Non O based on marriage, my questions is about the appointments, can you only book 2 weeks beforehand?

    Assume single entry, why? I don't do extensions ( except during Covid ), i go to Savanakhet each year.

Maybe you misread my intentions, i'm looking at making an appointment 1st week Nov, but the appoinyments are only available from now until about 2 weeks time, unless i missed something. I don't want to do anything in country as i can't handle the BS they require and dealing with the local immigration gestapo. Thanks.

    Thank you. Just had a quick play around and it looks like you can only book up till 11th Oct so basically 2 weeks away, is that right? I would plan to go end Oct / start Nov, i guess i need to wait until closer to the time?

    yeah, this is my reason, i have plenty of baht but currently getting paid in USD so would plan to hold it until the rate is more favourable.

    I've had my account with bangkok bank for 20 years +, is it straight forward enough to open up a USD a/c? Has anyone done this recently? Thanks

    I can login without OTPs and make transfers ( up to a certain amount ) without OTPs.

    I have a uk account, i do not need a UK phone number - Bank of Scotland. Infact, i've got my Thai number linked to it, the account is however still linked to a uk address.

    Where did i say it was a good idea not to have a visa? How do you know this old git had been doing harm to someone? Most old guys that have been here for decades want nothing but peace and quiet.
