  1. That money would be better used building up the UK defences
  2. If the photo shows where he was stuck then he must be a poor driver. The Fortuna is 4 wheel drive and would handle that without missing a beat.
  3. WISE do have limits. To Bangkok bank it think it is up to Baht 2,000,000 for a transfer. Kasikorn is less at around 1.5 million. The levels are on the WISE website.
  4. Lets hope they are right for all that buy an EV. It sounds very optimistic but good if they do last that long. I have heard and read more reports of the batteries needing to be replaced a lot quicker than that and a friend of mind had to replace the batteries in his EV just a few years after buying it from new.
  5. Agreed there is a lack of confidence and if you look around for reports their sceptic attitude is justified
  6. If you believe that I don't know what to say. There are so many reports of batteries not lasting that long. For any battery to last that long would be marvellous but I doubt if battery technology is sufficient to give half of what you state and that is optimistic. The type price you quote is an indication of how expensive they are and no one would take on a second hand car just knowing the price of tyres let alone anything else.
  7. Agreed but the dealers know the cost to replace parts so how much would they really be willing to offer you? I would guess not a lot.
  8. Question for you, if EV's are so good why did you sell 2 of them? You imply they last as long as an ICE vehicle so it would be reasonable to assume you would have kept them.
  9. Good for you but batteries do not last forever no matter how much you look after them and for an EV they are not cheap.
  10. Agreed you can always get a passport to get home but I would not think you could travel anywhere else but to your home country
  11. Exactly. Second hand value of EV's will be pennies. Anyone buying a second hand EV will assume that a battery replacement will be necessary and that does not come cheap, not to mention the charging time and the availability of chargers.
  12. Maybe if you grew up a discussion would be possible but as an illiterate there is no chance of that
  13. Unfortunately I do know a lot of Americans. Pity you have such a ridiculously silly attitude. I assume if you are American you are of the hill billy genre.
  14. I doubt if many even know what day it is.
  15. Maybe drugs is the name of his horse.
  16. You can get all the information from the HMRC online site. Which office are you send to? I have sent to the HMRC rercently so I Have the address if you need it.
  17. These are accepted figure. If all deaths resulting from road accidents were counted i.e. deaths in hospitals resulting from road accidents, the figures would be through the roof.
  18. True. The figures are of those unfortunate persons that die at the scene of the accident
  19. We shouldnt be but he still holds the title which may give him money
  20. Just as long as the British tax payer is not giving him money which I suspect we still are.
  21. Wise is fast and cheaper. Use Wise.
  22. Never met an Engineer as stupid as this guy. I think they really mean Technician.
  23. I have learnt how to handle heat and now I go out for 1 or 2 hours walking around taking photos. You just need to take standard precautions. Wear a hat, cover your neck and take watch with you. You will sweat of course but you will be ok.
