Surely this is a wind up. The items you list are rudimentary at best. Gift it to family or friends or charity.

Depends how much it costs! But IDK that because when I tried to get Movecube quote just now, after entering all the details the result was "Server Error in '/' Application."

But surface freight isn't necessarily that expensive. I sent about 15kg of stuff internationally from China once; I think it was USD25 for the first 1 or 2kg, then about 2USD per kg. So ~55USD - way less than buying the same things over again. (The package did however end up sitting in the post office for several months longer than necessary, because the delivery notice went missing. Sigh.)

according to a recent documentary on Netflix weed was banned in the US because white women were becoming a little too friendly with the "locals" at jazz clubs (notorious for weed smoking) around the country. basically it was banned for racist reasons.

Possibly a factor, but that may not have been the root cause:

    Quote

Shortly before marijuana was banned by The Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, new technologies were developed that made hemp a potential competitor with the newly-founded synthetic fiber and plastics industries. Hemp's potential for producing paper also posed a threat to the timber industry (see New Billion-Dollar Crop). Evidence suggests that commercial interests having much to lose from hemp competition helped propagate reefer madness hysteria, and used their influence to lobby for Marijuana Prohibition. It is not known for certain if special interests conspired to destroy the hemp industry via Marijuana Prohibition, but enough evidence exists to raise the possibility.

(And recently everything seems to be "for racist reasons"...)

I am not advocating killing of dogs but I find the logic funny.

Killing dogs and cats is cruel.....but

Killing pigs, cows, goats is not cruel?

They are all mammals and feel the same amount of pain when killed.

Every morning I see trucks of pigs being send to the slaughter house and nobody complained of this? There are videos of pigs slaughtering on Youtube and it was horrific.

And dogs and cats eat how many cows/pigs/sheep/chicken over a lifetime when kept as pets? Not to mention the smaller animals they kill themselves.

Or the carbon footprint of pets, which are, by definition, unnecessary, and cause various forms of nuisance to other people...

I am just wondering how easy it is to get foreign languages visa in Thailand considering that it will never be used in Thailand and highly suspect of the applicant's motive.

Maybe, but Japan (& Korea?) are relatively expensive, so studying them somewhere cheaper makes sense... although a bit less sense than Asian English language students going to the Philippines.

If someone checks with a school about a visa for studying a non-Thai language, let us know they say????

Remember that immigration will test you on your Thai language skill every 3 months when you go renew your visa so it's not as easy as one thinks.

There are private language schools that offer other languages and can get visas. Usually Japanese, Korean and Mandarin - I doubt most immigration officials wouldn't be able to test people on these. (Then there's English, but idk if a native English speaker could get a visa that way :p)

A select few muay thai schools too.

The most important thing is in the first sentence: "Influenza (Flu) and COVID-19 are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses."

Not just different viruses, different classes of virus. Also different classes of virus that bind to different transmembrane receptors, which is one reason for some marked differences in the etiology of the resulting diseases (eg much more blood clotting with corona than flu).

Any suggestion for useful exercises I would be grateful.

There are some exercises using sticks (aka 'health wands', a broomstick works fine) in these playlists:

Using a stick to modify standing yoga poses might make some of them more approachable too.
