    There is nothing to be proud of in any sexual orientation, nothing special or novel about being gay. This whole gay pride farce and silly flag waving is an anachronism by people desperately trying to pretend they are still victims and special.

    All these places have websites or on facebook these days, turning up on the night might not get you in, often you have to book a table well in advance. Some pubs will let you in as standing and sometimes you can still get a table after 7.30 if people do not show up. Pubs are not my favorite concert venues. Did not get into see lamyai 2 weeks ago at Tawang Deang in BKK, full, called too late. Seeing her next Sunday.

    Well the expensive wine SHOULD have been a lot cheaper by now as the tax was reduced months ago. The prices are all exactly the same, apart from a few increases!

    One girl visiting from rural Roi Et some time ago was telling us about school life, she was about 9. Asked her what her place was in the class she proudly told us she was number one in the class. When asked how many there were in the class- two, her and another girl.😁

    Why cant they all be like Thai government top tier schools which are more like private ones, with high costs it must be said. English to a high standard, foreign history books in English, special dance and drama courses. They have little of the nationalistic flag waving and marching about or wasting hours on other nonsense. Competition to get into them is high. If they can do it for a few schools they can do it for a lot more.

    Sad to see this pride nonsense coming to Bkk, nothing against gays and same sex marriage, but being gay is hardly a life achievement, and nothing to be 'proud' about. Many gays think this parading around in exhibition mode does not help and is divisive, I agree. I would have thought the PM would have more important things to do than attending camp street marches with that silly flag waving.
